Lack of parking and a small room up two flights of stairs.

The room was good and the food exactly what I was looking for.

It was a very hot day and as no air conditioning I had to keep the windows open, as the room overlooked the main square, I was kept awake by a constant series of noisy buses and lorries passing by the hotel.

Room nice and clean, nice home made biscuits in the room and ground coffee, plenty of free bottles of water in a cooler on the landing.

Central location and walking distance to the venue we were going to.

Not sure what made the room we had a "superior room". Small for a double room, albeit with a nice shower room. Couldn't find a hair dryer in the room. Only providing 2-small biscuits with the tea and coffee making facility seems somewhat stingy. Lack of parking needs to be taken into consideration

Location was excellent,we didn't have breakfast but had a lovely meal the night we stayed.Beer was excellent.offering water and fresh milk for the room an extra touch and the tea bags were good quality.

We could have been made aware that we would hear the extractor fans in the room (7),although they went off about 10pm and did not run at night.

The only thing was the coffee wasn't brilliant (but thats a minor detail)! Everything else was lovely.

Quiet and comfortable room at the back. Spotlessly clean.

Very low bed in room 9 might not suit some people but comfortable and fine for us.

Friendly helpful staff; lovely room, spotlessly clean; cold water & fresh milk available to help yourself to; dog friendly; fan provided in the room which we were thankful for to cool the room down.

Very central position on the market square and we were in a front facing room so it was extremely noisy from traffic and people out and about late on a Saturday night.

Your staff were all helpful & polite & friendly Our bed was so comfortable (room 4) no ghost that night Evening meals & breakfast were amazing

The staff are so welcoming and friendly from check in to check out. The room was perfectly clean, tidy and decorated. The mini fridge with water and milk for tea outside the room was so useful when we came back late at night.

Literally the only thing is the plumbing isn’t that great and you have to flush five times for any toilet paper to go down but it didn’t put me off and we loved our stay.

The room was pleasantly decorated, clean and functional. The restaurant and bar area was pleasant. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

When we arrived to check in we had to wait for 3 people to be served at the bar before we could check in. We were asked our name,given the key and asked if we wanted breakfast. It was the most unwelcoming reception I have ever experienced. When booking, I requested a quiet room. We were allocated to a room overlooking the man road. The noise (speeding cars, people) was incredible and stopped around 3am. We barely slept. We had booked to stay for 2 nights but checked out after 1. The manager was very apologetic and gave us a reduction in the room rate which was appreciated.
