The location of the hotel was convenient for us. The room was clean. The staff was polite. Old bed, but the mattress was comfortable and we slept good. Ate some chicken soup for dinner and it was delicious.

- Breakfast was included in the price and it could be improved. There was a menu with several options to chose from, however there were only 4 options included in the price, which was disappointing. We ordered 1 pancake and 1 omelet. The pancakes were not great and looked more like thick crêpes. It came only with honey and some sliced banana. It would've been nice to have other fruits / more diverse topping options. The omelet was ok. - The bathroom window is permanently open, which can let mosquitos inside. - The furniture is outdated. - There was no toiletries in the bathroom apart from 2 small soaps. No shower gel and no shampoo.

The location was great for us. There are restaurants around the corner in one direction and the beach down the road. Great breakfast. Wonderful staff and owners.

Staff was really helpful. Location was good, close to the beach. Their lovely green garden is a nice and quiet place to relax and on site restaurant good value. Huge towels are easy for beach visit.

This is a family owned business and you can tell that the owners deeply care about your experience. The location is great - you won’t hear any noises or car honks, and the beach is literally 2 min walk from the property. The hotel territory is really nice and green, with lots of palms and a bar/restaurant that also serves as a reception desk. The staff is very sweet and speaks English, and the owners speak really good English, which seems rare in the DR. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice balcony and many windows. Some of the earlier reviews mentioned lack of Wi-Fi but this has definitely been fixed — there were 3-4 different networks offering great connectivity and speed. I’ve had a much worse experience with a different hotel, so I can’t recommend this place enough. The owners, Marco and Magda, are extremely nice people and are always curious if there is anything they can do to make your stay even better.

The hardware on the doors and windows in my room was very old and flimsy, some windows do not lock (may be a user error). The bed was a bit too small for the two of us, although my partner and I are slim. Aside from that, there’s nothing to complain about

It is special place created with passion by the owners Magda and Marcos. If you go to take a rest it is the the right place. Close to the beatiful beach. Magda and Margos helped us with everything during our stayed. The restaurant hidden in the beatiful garden serve delicious dishes also polish one :)

Amazing food and warm and friendly staff. Nice little pool for our toddler! We had a great time here! Lovely spot and good A.C. in bedrooms. Nice location since it's a quick walk to the beach and restaraunts.

Mosquitoes are a bit rough but coils are provided to ward them off .

A great location just steps down a side street to the beach. Friendly and kind owners and staff. Would be fine for a short stay. Comfortable bed, good A/C.

Our room was tiny which is not necessarily a problem if it has the right furnishings. But there were no bedside tables or even shelves, very few hooks or bars or flat surfaces to place stuff. It was hard for two people to keep organized in that space when there were so few places to put things. And we travel very light with small suitcases and backpacks. I'd recommend it for a night or two but not a place to settle in. I assume other rooms were bigger. All the pubic areas were outdoors - great but the mosquitoes were really bad. We were both bitten despite wearing Deep Woods Off.

Great chatty owners , very close to the beach and shops. Leo is always around and with a smile on his face . Victor also helpful !

Not the owners fault , however the entertainment venue of the resort next door is right across the street , therefore very loud every night until quite late . Also the property is surrounded by construction sites so it’s noisy daytime as well.

A cozy family owned bed and breakfast located in the heart of Bavaro beach. Prime location Just a 2 min walk to the beach and also just off a street with a bunch of really good restaurants. The family and the staff are just super sweet and they really make you feel like you are at home. the breakfast was very tasty and filling and the guy running the restaurant (Luis) was awesome! They have a beautiful garden and cute dogs. Also a great place to meet new people in the restaurant where you’ll see people hanging out. they are very responsive to questions and accommodating to guest needs which is so appreciated. they have parking. it is generally very quiet. all around very positive experience and highly recommend.

just more of an fyi that most of the beach spaces are private so it can be hard to get a lounge chair and spot to sit on the beach if you book thru a place without private beach access. also bring your own toiletries and plan to pay cash (card fees are 10% charge).

The hotel is very close to the beach and has a lot of markets and other places around. The room was very spatious, beds were very comfy. Nice garden and bar inside to have a breakfast or a drink. The couple who run the place are great people. We will never forget their support and empathy in these hard times (Russian war against Ukraine). MUCHAS GRACIAS!
