Great location w walking distance to china town and the CBD. Beautiful and modern interior. Comfortable bed. Service minded and polite staff. Reasonable prices at the hotel bars.

The Lumiere bar at level 35 doesn’t open till 8pm.

Love the service with the club benefits and loved the bath tub with the view

Certainly not the fault of Sofitel but there was a lot of work that was going on construction-wise below us and it was a bit of an eye sore. Also the waiter that we had at the French restaurant asked if I could give him his tip in cash rather than adding it to the bill and I thought that was a bit rude but apart from that your receptionist your staff everything was absolutely amazing

The pool area was smaller than expected and quite crowded.

Location was perfect with easy access to transport. The valet parking was a great option & the staff were all friendly & helpful.

They put us in a disabled room. It was ok but gave me the feeling we were not getting what we paid for. Parking was expensive.

Beautiful room with a view over Balmain- quiet and peaceful, comfy bed. The staff were so lovely- we were there for Taylor Swift and they were so excited for us - every single interaction we had with a staff member was 10/10. The coffee we had in the foyer cafe was very good too!

There are building works right outside the hotel front, infront of the hotel, so the pool isn’t relaxing at all, and the view is ruined by a crane. No warning of the works upon booking or check in

We had a harbor view and out window was extremely dirty. We booked his room and time due to the fireworks in the harbor but it was spoiled by a very dirty window view

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we enjoyed the most delightful service and smiles from every single staff member we encountered. The view of the harbour was stunning but still quiet. I will be back and have already been telling everyone how wonderful it was. Thank you.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Champagne Bar. The staff were attentive and lovely

There was a long wait to check in. There were only a few in line and 3 staff checking in so it should have been quick. But one customer took up more than 20 mins and I wonder if there is a way to deal with problem issues in another way. These things can happen of course but it was made worse by one of the other 2 remaining staff leaving the front desk and when he returned he was shuffling papers and not attending to those waiting. Also there was no apologies for the long wait

Everything, Richie one of the Vallay Parking employees really went out of his way for us.

Room was awesome. I will ensure I book a room with a bath next time

Nothing really

Staff at reception not welcoming. No one bothers to greet you at the door, reception staff was just doing her job as if she had no choice. It was disappointing to see the hospitality. The corridor carpet smells all along like wet carpet. Pool area not great. Very noisy from the construction around. The bar service poor, the girl was doing all cocktails and she couldn’t do it herself. The bar fridges door are so dirty when you look over the counter.

Loved the bath and view. Was beautiful. The pool bar. The bed was super comfy.

The pool bar needs to stay open longer in Summer 6pm is too soon.
