It is located in a peaceful village but so easy to access the local area, loads of parking round the back. The staff were brilliant from the moment I walked in, I arrived late and tired and was shown to my room and shown where my breakfast had been placed, which was really nice. The bed was comfy, the shower was one of the best I've ever experienced and the bathroom was huge! It looked like the rooms had recently been decorated, or that they really maintain the rooms well, it was so cosy and comfortable and has everything you need. I loved my stay and will definitely be back - thank you!

I'm being picky but the room was very warm, despite switching the radiator off and having the window open.

We booked a family room as we were staying with our 8 year old Grandson. The room was a good size, very pleasant, warm and cosy. There was a king size bed and double sofa bed. The beds were comfortable with good quality bedding. The bathroom was very nice and spacious. Everything was exceptionally clean. Having the excellent Campagna Restaurant on site was a real bonus (the rooms are above the restaurant but couldn't hear any noise). Very nice environment with excellent food. The room has a well stocked fridge with milk, orange juice, butter, jam and marmalade and spring water. There were a good selection of cereal in the room. The croissants and sandwiches of our choice were delivered to our room the night before and we could put the sandwiches in the fridge. I was unsure about this arrangement but breakfast was fine and ample and there was a table and chairs to sit at in the room. Staff were all brilliant, helpful and friendly. Great location for us as we were visiting Longleat Safari Park which is only11-12 mins drive away. Wookey Hole is about 45 mins drive away. We would definitely love to return.

Lovely welcoming reception warm spotlessly clean room and well provided with toiletries and a well supplied hostess try. Large walk in shower . Lovely restaurant with wide menu on site but for breakfast continental only and served in room but satisfactory and fridge in room kept food fresh . The staff really worked hard and staff issues are a difficulty for all hospitality providers at present

Car parking could be difficult when restaurant full it was very soon a full car park. weather conditions were very bad snow and ice and car park on a slight slope did not appear to have been salted all very slippery . My bed in room 3 it was 2 singles pushed together for a double but where they touched was very uncomfortable and for me resulted in some discomfort There are quite a few steps upstairs to rooms no lift and a step down from bedroom to ensuite

Staff were so friendly, and the room was amazing, expected a little room above a pub, but my, this room was above and beyond what we thought we would get! Food in the restaurant was amazing! 5 ⭐️

UHT milk! Ruined tea and coffee, and couldn’t eat the cereal, with a fridge in the room, a pint of fresh milk would have been better.

Very friendly staff who were eager to help. Lovely room with comfortable bed. Excellent continental breakfast and very good restaurant at the pub.

the room was above the kitchen. you could smell the grease of food being made when the windows were open plus the shower was scalding hot - there’s didn’t seem to be an in between temperature

Being delivered at 9.00 pm the previous evening breakfast was a little stale unfortunately.

Lovely hotel - we had booked with breakfast to be told it was a continual style breakfast served in the room, but this turned out to ne excellent, and even includes a couple of ciabatta sandwiches which we had for lunch. Sadly we did not try theItalian restaurant that is part of the hotel, but the menu looked great so we will stay again and enjoy a meal

The only nitpick was they had used a clever idea for a wardrobe just by having a row of hooks & hangars on the wall, so it effectively makes the room a bit bigger - sadly they had placed it above the breakfast bar so it could not be used.

modern bathroom, size of the room AND bathroom was good. there was a fridge which was helpful. staff really pleasant and helpful.

there were 2 single beds put together to make a double bed. bedroom had creaky floor in spots.

The rooms at the Angel Inn are lovely - modern and very comfortable. The Inn downstairs is a great place to have a drink and food as well. The staff and the service there was also fantastic. We had to leave really early but we were provided with a great breakfast in our rooms - which included home-made croissants, and the Inn made us delicious home-made ciabatta sandwiches, which they made for us the night before so we could take with us. Overall, it was a great experience.

The hotel room was quite hot and took a while to cool down at night, which made falling asleep a little difficult. We also couldn't keep the curtain open to cool the room because a street light shone straight into the bedroom

Great location for our trip to Longleat. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. The rooms were super clean, tidy and decorated nice. The breakfast and added extras to breakfast was lovely, delicious food and service. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and the food was excellent as was the service and staff again. Lovely atmosphere for is with kids too.
