We loved our time in Portland, Maine. This property was perfect for us. We rented a car for the week and this location and the parking spot was perfect. Beth really cares about her guests and made everything easy with all of her little notes and the check in and check out was a breeze. I chose this property based on the reviews and they were all correct. We loved it...

We needed a comfortable place to stop on a long drive to Canada. The place was very comfortable and the owner communicated in very clear and helpful ways. I needed an extra half hour at check out due to a work commitment. She was accommodating, WiFi worked great and I was able to engage without worry. Will definitely seek to stay again as 1 1/2 days in Portland wasn’t quite enough to truly enjoy the area.

This was a wonderful option for us during our conference at the USM campus. The space was beautiful, quiet, very clean, and very private. We loved staying here and Beth was an absolute pleasure. We would definitely return if the opportunity arises!

This is our second time visiting. The place is wonderful. It is walkable to the water, which is relaxing. And Portland is the best. What a lovely gem of a place. We will be back again! Love the personal touches- chocolates, hand written notes... so thoughtful!

This property met all expectations and more! The apartment was a lovely size, well-appointed, and cozy. Our host was exceptional in her approach, down to every detail a guest could imagine. The location proved to be very convenient with regard to the planned outings during our four-day stay. We thoroughly enjoyed time at this property and would return!

First, Obie and Beth couldn’t have been nicer hosts. They are friendly and want to get you know you and share their knowledge of the area. The apartment is so nicely done, comfortable and it has everything you need. The gift card for morning buns was such a sweet gesture. You can’t go wrong staying at their place.

You know how sometimes pictures look better than reality, well not here. Reality and pictures are equally nice. So central for getting around the greater Portland area. Baxter blvd. is a great place to walk and right outside your door. Beth is the best host I’ve ever had. Easy and fast communication. I’d so rather deal with the home owner than a agency.

We loved our brief stay in Portland. Beth answered all our questions, gave us recommendations for restaurants, walks, transportation, and so much more. She truly exemplifies a great VRBO host. The apartment is cozy, yet spacious. Beth and Obie provided, milk, oj, coffee, bedtime chocolates. Wonderfully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, plenty of towels. In other words, perfect in every way.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Portland for the first time. It is in a great location, close to the airport and Old Port and in an adorable neighborhood. Beth and Obie have landscaped and decorated their home absolutely lovely. Parking in Portland is expensive and hard to find so we also appreciated the parking spot in front and mostly took Ubers where we wanted to go. Some things we loved about the place were the very comfortable king size bed, the large shower, the view of Back Cove, and the natural light and coziness of the living area. We really appreciated the bakery gift card, milk and OJ in the fridge when we arrived as well as the bag of ice in the freezer (there is no ice maker) and the beach chairs in the front closet which we used! There were a couple things we think would make the place even better. Basic kitchen supplies are present but we did miss wine/champagne glasses, some basic spices (only a small salt and pepper are present), a pizza cutter, wire whisk, and tongs. The apartment is in a basement and is a bit damp and musty smelling but would likely benefit greatly from a dehumidifier. The washer/dryer combo unit and TV were a challenge for us to figure out (maybe just us). All in all, it was a great stay and we had a lot of fun!

Very clean, well organized and equipped 1 BR in Portland by the cove. Really loved our stay and host was very attentive and accommodating. Have stayed in a number of rentals and would give this place and hosts highest rating.

The owners have done everything possible to ensure a great stay! The furnishings are gorgeous and the unit feels spacious and also cozy. From small touches like milk and juice in the fridge to more meaningful aspects like a well lit bathroom and ample storage space, this truly is a wonderful VRBO. The location is also perfect - we loved the water view and also being able to walk out the door to a perfect running trail. Thank you so much!

My husband and I stayed for four nights in July and wish we would’ve booked a month longer. Place is exactly as photos show: cute decor, well stocked, clean, bay view, great location and THE most helpful hosts. Staying here was an excellent decision.

This was our first visit to Portland and we couldn't have chosen a more comfortable place to stay. Beth and Obie were the quintessential hosts: kind, welcoming, professional, and communicative. They love Portland and went above and beyond to ensure that our vacation was enjoyable, even leaving us a gift card for two Morning Buns at the Standard Baking Company! Their apartment was located just outside the city center in a quiet neighborhood within a 5-10 minute walk of coffee shops and restaurants, and a 5-minute drive to the Hannaford Supermarket. Having safe, off-street parking was a unique perk, as was the ability to relax outside on the patio with a view of Back Bay. The apartment was spacious with lots of attention to essential details, such as a fully-equipped kitchen, well-appointed bathroom, state-of-the-art appliances, and beautiful gas fireplace as a focal point. While the Old Port was only a 10-minute drive away, we were grateful to leave the hectic downtown for a place where we could truly rest after the day's adventures. While this may have been our first trip to Portland, it certainly won't be our last and we look forward to staying with Beth and Obie on a return visit!

This was our first VRBO experience for my husband and myself! The location was ideal for us and we walked on the path daily that was a stone's throw from this beautiful apartment. The weather was not in our favor during our stay however, we were happy to stay following a full day during the evenings and enjoy the environment while reading or catching a movie in this well appointed apartment. The pictures and reality match all you need to do is think about the comfort that comes with a dream mattress and a living room where lounging is inviting. We were so glad we were not in a one room hotel. Beth and Obie, our hosts were so amazing from the day we booked to when we pulled out of the driveway. They were gracious, welcoming, extremely responsive and even texted us great ideas 1st thing in the morning when the forecast indicated RAIN all day. I would have wanted to get to know them a bit more however both of us were bit under the weather during our stay as well. The added touches throughout the apartment are almost too many to mention let alone having a few things in the refrigerator for us to enjoy too. We both highly recommend your staying here and the only downside is that you will be spoiled with highest standards for future VRBO stays. Thank you Beth and Obie. Take the very best of care!

Generous hosts provided a clean, newly renovated home away from home

We spent the weekend as an adult getaway and could not have found a nicer, more welcoming place! The apartment is spotless, beautifully updated, and has MANY personal touches. We were greeted with fresh flowers and milk in the fridge 😊Beth and Obie were very responsive and friendly. We will definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is spacious and gorgeous and has everything you need. Much more comfortable than a hotel. Nice views of Back Cove with the trail just steps away and private outdoor seating area. Really pleasant neighborhood and downtown is just a few minutes away. The hosts are super nice people and easy to get in touch with. I hope we can come back for another visit. We definitely recommend this property!! Thank you.

Very Comfortable place. We loved the view to Back Cove from the living room and kitchen. It was just across the street from the trail that you could walk several miles on. The king size bed was very comfortable and the shower was wonderful. Also, just a couple minutes drive to Old Port! We were in town visiting my mother-in-law who uses a walker and wheelchair for mobility and it was easily assessible for her. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this apartment to couples visiting Portland.

The property was top notch - we were absolutely delighted with our stay. The location is fantastic - step out the door to a morning walk around the cove or take a short drive to the piers and the many restaurants. The accommodations at the apartment were terrific. We were pleasantly surprised with how roomy the space felt. Excellent interior design with many thoughtful details - we really felt ‘right at home’. Comfy bed afforded a great nights sleep. We hope to stay again next time we visit Portland!
