staff very unhelpful. very little pool seating. no atmosphere in the bar or pool area. breakfast very basic and have to queue for a seat even if not busy. staff clear tables as your finishing your food

the smell of the drains in the hotel foyer. Plus there was a smell of chlorine from the water from the taps in the room.

wonderful hotel, in a perfect location, amazing staff, food and facilities, the only thing we really would have liked and missed, was tea/ coffee making facility in the room

Location was fabulous as was the spa. Really enjoyed our time in the jacuzzi , steam room and sauna . The breakfast was fresh and it was great you could get freshly made pancakes. It was spotlessly clean and fresh towels and toiletries everyday. Most of the staff were very friendly.

The closing time of the residents lounge and having to queue for breakfast if you wanted a seat inside but that wouldn't be a problem if weather was warm. Delighted we didn't pay for a balcony as some of them look out onto horrible old buildings. I thought the deposit of 100euros per person was a bit steep, it should be per couple. What can one really break in the small room??

We arrived from Lisbon & luckily got a parking space on the side of the road. Loved how close the hotel was to the beach - just a short walk. I liked how the pool was over looking the beach & just generally relaxing. We used the spa - staff friendly, facilities great- I liked that the spa will only take 1 room at a time so you get the facilities to yourselves. The room was bigger than I expected & had everything we needed (loved the balcony overlooking the beach). The hotel was only a few minutes walk into the old town with plenty of restaurants & shops. The hotel were very helpful & arranged our transfer back to the airport & let us access the facilities after check out to enjoy our last few hours on the beach

Breakfast was average (I did love the pancakes made in front of you but some pastries would have been nice). In general staff are friendly, however when it comes to breakfast there seemed to be pressure to just get breakfast over with. Staff seem hectic & rushed to finish up breakfast. 2 mornings in a row (at different times before 10) we were greeted with an unhappy man looking at his watch & pointing over to a table - not a welcoming or relaxing way to start the day. The bed / pillows are quite uncomfortable. I loved using & relaxing near the pool but it was freezing meaning I could only use it in very short bursts. There is also a limited amounts of beds beside the pool (maybe 10) meaning you might just be sitting beside the pool edge.

Towels for swimming pool could be beside pool and easier process to get/return them Breakfast, while there is a lot of variety and some good options, could be better in places, especially the bacon and coffee.
