Beautiful hotel fantastic staff

Surprised breakfast wasn’t included, given the price. We were on the 1st floor and the music from a function was quite loud, but room was very comfortable so we slept well.

I liked the decor, ambiance, food, friendliness of staff.

The view (not a good aspect).

Iconic building. Staff are friendly and attentive without being submissive. Rooms are fine, if a little small and the view isn't great - unless you are at the front of the building.

The residents bar (after 11 ) option is not great. Feels like a bit of a barn / conference space. And the service was poor. I'd expect more from such an iconic hotel. If that's all they can provide it might be better not bothering at all. Breakfast ( room service ) was very average.

Beautiful hotel - the rooms are amazing and hotel has so much history and is truly stunning. Restaurants were amazing and afternoon tea was one of the best I have had. Can’t wait to visit again.

Excellent location, good breakfast.

Room wasn’t ready at 3:00. Rooms are fine but on the smaller side. Tried to get concierge to help me book a difficult restaurant (I’ve had luck having nice hotels call in Barcelona, Paris, etc, but here they basically just told me what I already knew). I’m nitpicking but the shelbourne is the most famous hotel in Ireland!
