Birds singing, vines nearby, near to town and coast.

The resort was beautiful, incredibly relaxing. The staff on reception and in the spa were exceptional. The Spa was fantastic and i enjoyed all of my treatments. The room was large and well decorated.

There were elements of the service that were not 5 star quality. The drinks we ordered on a number of occasions were not as described in the menu and when we queried this we were met with blank looks and dismissed. One evening we wanted some gelato at about 10.15pm have returned from a restaurant outside the resort. we were told that the restaurant was closed and this was not possible. We went to the helpful staff on reception and they did find a member of staff who was able to provide us with the service. The bar inside the hotel was not open all the time and the afternoon of our departure we wanted a drink before leaving but were unable to get it from here. When we queried it, there was no offer for someone to get it for us from the pool bar. Whilst these are little things they are what I would expect from a 5 star resort.

It’s a little oasis with exceptional staff. Absolutely loved it.

The breakfast was fantastic with what looks like an in-house bakery but perhaps add some basics or simpler fresh, local dishes to the menu

The staff was ever so lovely from the very first greeting and through out our stay. The restaurant turned out to be very good indeed as was the breakfast. We truly enjoyed our stay and are happy to recommend this hotel.

The facilities, rooms, staff ,service and restaurant were all excellent. The yoga programme and spa facilities exceptional.

We didn’t have a car so we felt a bit isolated.

Exceptional staff in all areas-reception, restaurant,pool, bar and cleaning. Simply five star as per the hotel rating.

Not an issue for us as we brought our own car from Malta. I would advise organising transport unless you simply want to stay at the hotel all day.
