There was a room available on short notice. The checkin experience was conducted in a friendly manner.

On the plus side, we knew the room had definitely been cleaned. On the downside, the overpowering smell of disinfectant made us question what had happened in the room to need so much. The ensuite was in dire need of an upgrade, with even my unobservant children commenting on the rust, the extremely limited shower space, and the tap handle kept falling off. There were no towels in our room; which was also discovered with unfortunate timing. The wifi was apparently down with tech coming to fix “later”. And the bunk beds were extremely uncomfortable.

Good location and a good price. Don't expect too much for $90/night

When we arrived the toilet leaked, tv didn’t work. We were eventually moved to another room an hour later that had all wet floors and stunk.

Cleanliness, mould in the bathroom, no aircon. Thin curtains that did not block out the light

very old and springy, could feel the individual springs. Could feel ever movement of my partner.

It does not appear to have been updated since the 90’s, could do with fresh paint and updated bathroom / beds
