I have stayed at backpackers for cheap and had some horrible experiences. For the price I paid I really enjoyed everything I needed was there and everything was clean. And it's nice to have so much space compared with a backpackers which is much smaller.

The fridge was a little small and the third bedroom didn't have a fan but the other two rooms did.

Basic, but functional. Nice bathroom. Space heater available. Xtra blanket. The owner was super responsive when we arrived late and had trouble getting the key box open.

Room was very clean.

Staffs was extremely helpful, they even send info on where we should visit (food, entertainment, supermarket,etc..). Discounts offered on activities around Rotorua

The rooms and abience were nice. It was good place to spend the night.

The water pressure could have been better. The hot water didn’t come through even after the minutes of water running.

There was a bad smell going up the stairs that was hard to ignore.

The location..the friendly staffs . The beds are good except no floor mats in the bathroom. The kitchen is good too but no pots or pans.

The main door. I felt safer if it's a wooden door.
