The only two positive things:
1. it had hot running water
2. It is close to Nuba Chalet
The room was rather expensive for what it offered.
We had to check in and get the room in a different town.
The front door would not close. I’m not saying it wouldn’t lock, but it would stay semi open. We called reception several times to get it fixed.
The heat would not work. Since this is a mountain area, it gets cold at night. While we were there, the temperature outside was below 9 degrees Celsius. The guard in the building told us there is nothing to be done until morning. Although we reported it in the evening, no one showed up/ checked in with us in the morning.
There was no water in the room and no place to get coffee around (at least until noon).

The restaurant is great,a lot of choises and good food,the private parking is good also,the size of the room is ok.
Imposible to have a cofee in the morning,need to go to a bar for that,the matress is old and not confortable,too much noise because of the kids,wake up at 6h30 in the morning one day,the music at the restaurant too loud and to late.
I was expecting to more services for 537 euros,at least a breakfast,the shower is not working well,is too hot in the room at night.There is no real curtain,you have some sort of office curtain so is not stoping the light in the morning.
The fridge is making a lot of noise.
If you add 150 euros to the 537 euros you can go to real nice hotel,expecting to be no kids and you have a bar and a breakfast.

I don't usually give low ranking to hotels on booking, especially not to small ones which sometimes make the only income for a family.
But with that place everything was wrong.
It started when they informed me, after I made a nonrefundable reservation, that they "asking" me to go to another
Hotel to pick up the key, which made my way longer.
When we arrived we found out that even though I ordered for 3 people, there was only one bed with sheets. After I requested, they brought me a blanket and cushions, but forgot the sheets. I slept on the sofa without sheets.
We had to wait about 10-15 minutes for warm water in the shower (each time), and even after waiting the water was lukewarm and the current was very very weak.
And I'm not talking about the bees that we're all over the room because we opened the windows to vent the place

The location was excellent, the room was amazing.
There was no clear indication for parking and no staff around.

There was no option for breakfast, we had to go somewhere else for breakfast as there wasn't even anything nearby to provide breakfast.
The bidet was broken.
The hot water was either VERY HOT, either COLD.
The bed was very noisy. Any slight movement would cause it to squeak.
The most disturbing fact was that we had to do the checkin somewhere else, which was NOT on our way to Pensiunea Alex, making us lose almost 1h of our time.

The toilet broke after 1h. Someone had to come and repair it. Even if it was repaired, it was still some discomfort brought by having someone in the room to repair it.
Then the shower wasn't working. We had to call again their staff to fix the shower too.
The bed was noisy and very rough.
There was no option for breakfast. We would have paid extra for breakfast if they had this option, but they didn't.
For a 4* villa, I believe that this should be mandatory.
When we did the checking we had to go somewhere else, we had to divert from our main track and then we had to wait almost 40 minutes to sort out the reservations, because one staff had no idea about all the reservations, then they sent us someplace else, lost another 20 minutes there and it was very frustrating. I still do not understand why in year 2022, a 4* villa cannot handle the checkin at the villa itself.
