Super friendly owners

Javi and Dave were excellent hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We are considering purchasing a property in Asturias and they were very generous with information about purchasing and renovating real estate in the area. The breakfast included fresh fruit, excellent toasted bread, abundant coffee, and as a bonus --homemade cookies. Our room was extremely nice with a comfortable bed fitted with Egyptian cotton sheets, and a modern bathroom. The entire property has been recently renovated to the highest modern standards yet retains the warmth and charm of the Asturias countryside. The property is well located in the Pilones area about 10 minutes from Infiesto, a small city with cafes and restaurants. Oviedo is about 45 minutes away and the beautiful beach towns of Ribadesella and Llanes are less than an hour away. Javi and Dave have prepared a number of travel itineraries on their website that were useful in touring the area. All in all a wonderful experience.

This is an exceptional property in beautiful Asturias. If you are looking for a place close to natural beauty but with a stay that has attention to detail , personality and great food. this is the place for you!

Dave and Javi were the perfect hosts and we loved our 3 days staying with them (and Carson the dog!). The breakfasts were healthy and delicious and we also paid to have an evening meal with them and it was wonderful. They catered for my gluten free diet with no fuss at all. We didn't want to leave!

Nowhere to eat within walking distance but that's not an issue as they will serve you a delicious meal!

This is the perfect place for a get-away, the opportunity to dis-connect in a totally modern place that offers all one may need while "disconnecting." The location in prime cycling territory was perfect for exactly what I was looking for -- a cycling get-away with millions of options for rides! And coming back exhausted, sometimes wet from rain, and usually on an adrenaline high, the hosts Javier and Dave had everything one could ask for to wind down after a "hard-days-work" riding and climbing the daily ~160kms. I so enjoyed staying with them, feeling right at home, not worrying about a thing and definitely not wanting to ever go back to a "normal" hotel. Dinners at the Gran Sueño, served personally by Dave and Javier were sublime every single night! I loved every single minute of my stay with them and I am planning to go back! PS: I usually do not "do" reviews ever... because everybody feels different about particular things... but this place is extraordinary and deserves more positive feedback than any other place I have stayed in a while. Javier and Dave will make your stay memorable, no doubt!
