Abbiamo trascorso una settimana meravigliosa al Melus Maris. Le camere sono bellissime e molto confortevoli. il posto è bellissimo e tranquillo, ci è piaciuto poter usufruire della piscina. Carmelo è molto accogliente e ci ha dato tanti preziosi consigli. Era sempre disponibile per le nostre domande. Lo ringraziamo calorosamente per questa fantastica settimana e speriamo di tornare presto! We spent a wonderful week at Melus Maris. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. the place is beautiful and quiet, we loved being able to enjoy the swimming pool. Carmelo is very welcoming and gave us lots of valuable advice. He was always available for our questions. We thank him warmly for this great week and hope to return soon!

The proximity to the sea and beautiful surroundings. The owner was efficient and easy to communicate with.

The photos of the property and what you see in reality don’t match. The price was a bit steep for what it was, but as it was the peak of high season, it’s not surprising.

Extremely quiet and pieceful area, nice swimming pool, very good shower, comfortable bed, owner quickly reacts to requests.

We booked the hotel for its sea view but this was fully covered by plants when we arrived. The pictures don't represent the structure as it is now. The kitchen and furniture were old and urgently need an upgrade. The kitchen was dirty and had old pots spread around. It felt like things were not well maintained. The price is far too high for what you get.

Hospitality, pleasent setting, privacy

This is an easy B&B, with a nice pool. This is NOT a luxury house as one could think after checking the homepage of the property. Pictures shown do not match with reality. The property is 30 Mins from Siracusa - not 10 Mins as mentioned by the owner. „Deluxe“ studio with sea view is badly equipped, especially the kitchen and partly under private use of the owner (as one could expect when booking Im a Private B&B). Very disappointing.
