My family spent a great week in Naragansett. The house was perfect for us. We loved the fact that everything was on one floor with the exception of the bonus room in the basement which worked out great for the kids. It was more than spacious enough for 8 adults and 6 children under 10.
The 2 bathrooms and the outdoor shower were more than enough to avoid any gridlock at shower time.
The location was close to the beach, restaurants, and the supermarket and the community was beautiful.
Margaret was terrific throughout the entire process and always available, such a nice person. I would highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again next year.

House was very clean, which is very important to me. AC units were great to have! Owners were very approachable and responsive. Really felt like a home away from home. Lots of pots and pans, plenty of dishes and serving items, grill was perfect, lots of basics (paper towels, seasonings, trash bags, toilet paper) to get us started for the week. I would suggest bringing room darkening drapes if you are light sensitive because these lovely sunny days start early! Close to the stores and beaches, quiet neighborhood, very nice neighbors. Highly recommend the place.

Good location. Owner addresses any concerns we had forthwith. Comfortable beds. It was warm and the one air conditioner was not adequate for the whole house ,however the bedroom ceiling fans were a help. All’s s all a good rental.

This was a very clean house. Nice yard for the kids to play in. No AC but quite comfortable with the fans. There is a window AC in the living room which cooled the house nicely.

Beach/Wedding Week
Good layout with the open floor plan - 4 bedrooms on the main floor accommodated everyone! The outdoor shower was the most popular! Very grateful for the A/C unit and the fans in every room. Also, appreciated the dehumidifier in the basement to keep everything nice and dry. (I emptied it every day but 1!)

Vacation in Rhode Island
We had a great time . The location was only 5 mins from the beach which was great with a 4 year old. We could come back to the house for lunch and a nap. Enjoyed the backyard and the wild turkeys that came through the yard with their proof. Everyone had plenty of room to relax.

The house was very cute. There is a nice yard and a good location. The neighborhood is great for walking. Sunset Farm is next door-close to beaches, restaurants and parks.

Excellent Beach House
My family and I really enjoyed staying at Margaret's beach house. Four beaches within eight miles. Super market a mile away. The house was fully stocked. My daughter said the kitchen was a chef's paradise! All appliances, various pots, utensils, and dishware were available. Excellent restaurants nearby. The outdoor shower was a plus especially after a beach day. The family agreed we'd like to return next year! Thank you Margaret.

Lovely house with 4 nice sized bedrooms; close to the beach; cute neighborhood to walk around; nice yard; would have appreciated an updated patio set outside and a larger recycle bin inside; the ceiling fans in each room were an added bonus since it was so hot! overall a very nice and relaxing vacation.

We had a great week and the weather was perfect.
Loved that all the bedrooms were on 1 floor and no stairs for the 1 year old to attempt to climb. The door to the basement remained shut at all times. It made it easy to relax for the week. Also loved the island with many stools around it.

Nice size, near beaches
Renting and communicating with owner was super easy. The house has plenty of room-we could have easily slept 12 people! The outdoor shower plus two full indoor bathrooms were plenty! There was a miscommunication with the cleaners after the previous renters, but the owners quickly rectified the issue and communicated effectively about the situation. The house could use some updating and some additional air conditioning but overall it was pleasant and convenient. We’d rent it again!

Briggs Farm and Margret were great.
Kitchen island was perfect for the 6 of us to sit around and visit and play games. The house was perfect distance to beaches,ferries and Newport.
Margret always responded to any questions. She was very accommodating to our needs.
The rainy weather didnt dampen our fun as we found plenty to do!!!

Cute, efficient & conveniently located.
Our stay at the property on Briggs farm was pretty awesome. The house is laid out in an efficient way. There are four bedrooms and a basement area. The living area is specious and open concept. The kitchen was stocked with most of the utensils you would need to cook on a daily basis. I really appreciated the fact that the kitchen island also served as the main dining table, eliminating the need for unnecessary furniture in the space. One thing I will say, however, is that the sofa bed in the basement is rather uncomfortable and rickety, and has some missing hardware, so we were planning to use it, and ended up not being able to. But other than that, our stay was easy and awesome.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for us, my 3 adult children and grandchild.
Home was sufficiently spacious with plenty of room for cooking and lounging around when we weren't at Scarborough beach. Location is a very short drive to the beach, downtown Narragansett, Galilee, or Point Judith. Beds comfortable and having 2 inside and 1 outside showers was an advantage. Sufficient cooking gear for all we did. Washer and dryer is a nice addition to have available as well with children. Items mentioned in previous reviews that needed attention were all fixed/addressed by the time we arrived so owners are very attentive. Having an additional air conditioner would be helpful as this past week was quite hot and humid; the ceiling fans in all the bedrooms did help. Would definitely stay here again when vacationing in Narragansett.

Lovely beach house
House was very bright and clean. Had ample space in all rooms. Loved the open kitchen area. Finished basement and outdoor shower were real pluses. Had all amenities for a carefree vacation.

Quiet and close to the beach
Place worked well for us, and the fact they allowed pets was definitely a bonus. With a nice back yard, plenty of room for the dogs to stretch their legs. The hot/cold outdoor shower was very nice. And the nice breeze made to easy to dry our beach wear on the clothes line.
The house is nice, comfortable. The finished basement became another bedroom for my oldest teenager. With a bathroom down there as well, you can basically call it a 5th bedroom! The A/C and the fans kept the house cool, except for the basement. A small unit would be nice for down there.
A few things shown some ware, the kitchen faucet's hand-sensor, I believe was broken. Or from what I could, completely fallen out. The fridge door didn't close well on its own, you had to make sure it closed before walking away. And the smaller microwave, the button to open the door falls out. However we generally used the larger microwave over the stove. Lastly, the picnic table outside didn't seem to have enough screws in it, as it seemed loosed and not completely sturdy when using it. But it was still usable.
FYI, these are not complaints, just pointing them out. As I figured the owners would like to know. My family and I would definitely stay here next year, if the owners were happy with us. Which would be our 1st, as this being our 4th year vacationing here, we have never rented the same house twice. But with a Season Beach pass, and the distance to Scarborough, the location and neighborhood were just perfect.

Perfect spot for a family trip to Point Jusith, RI
Plenty of room for everyone. Clean comfortable and spacious. Great location close to beaches and restaurants and stores, but in a quiet residential neighborhood. Large backyard perfect for get togethers, cooking out etc. We had a great time and can't wait to go back!

Great house and location
We recently stayed the weekend to attend a wedding at Kinney Bungalow and there was plenty of room for the entire bridal party to stay as well as get ready for the festivities. The open dining and living room was perfect. The location couldn't haven been any better and the owner was so helpful and friendly! I highly recommend this house.

Wonderful Vacation in Scarborough Beach
Great location, clean roomy with a large backyard. I rented the house with a large group of friends and family. The kitchen was fully stocked that allowed us to cook these fabulous meals but we were on vacation so we also enjoyed the seafood restaurants in the area. Newport is only 20 minutes away the winery is about 10 minutes further. Yes I recommend this house

Great house and neighborhood.
I just had the pleasure of renting this house from 7/27/2013 to 8/3/2013. The house is as advertised very clean and very well set up. The kitchen and living area is open which is great for meal preperation or for playing games.The bedrooms were all very well decorated and tha matresses were all very comfy. Having 2 full baths inside and a hot and cold shower outside is also a huge plus. With the house being a little over a mile to 3 state beaches puts you very close but just far enough away allowing for a quiet retreat in the evening. The owners seem like wonderful people and i am looking forward to renting next year.

Great 4th of July in RI
We rented the house for 2 weeks in July - we had a great time. The house was really clean when we arrived and nicely decorated with all the beachy items. The downstairs room is great for the kids to play - I have 3 children under the age of 11. There were videos for them to watch and board games for them to play. The owner provided linen for a small fee which was great one less thing to pack for a family of 5. There were so many things for us to do besides the beach. There was fireworks for the 4th of July; the annual balloon festival in Newport. We also did the mansion tours in Newport. What a great time. One of my favorite things was going down the boats in Galilee to get our lobsters and fresh seafood. The brochures that the owner provides for the local sites, activities and restaurants were great. Can't wait for next year!!

Rented for past three years
This past summer was our third year staying in the house. We had a blast! Although it was the hotest week of the summer the house was cool and comfortable!
Each room is spacious and clean. It's great having two bathrooms plus the outside shower.. makes life easier with kids!
The downstairs is great for the kids. They have all the space they need to play video games, watch movies etc.
Looking forward to summer of 2011!

We were here for the week in July, really enjoyed the house. We have a 4 month old and my sister-in law has a 4 yr old and a 6 month old. First time at Scarborough beach which was great...The house is only about a mile from the beach. Outdoor shower was very nice and it was nice to have AC in the house as well. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed there at the house for us. Nice quiet neighborhood as well. The owners stayed in touch throughout the entire process. Aunt Carrie's had some great seafood which is right down the road; lots of places nearby to eat, and also mini golf nearby. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great Vacation !
We can't thank you enough for a great vacation. After lasts years experience we were DELIGHTED with your home! It was neat, clean and all the site promised. The kitchen was fully stocked; thank you for mailing us new dishtowels the week we were there! The beds were comfortable, and all the rooms were freshly painted. We loved having the family room downstairs to watch movies. We walked to the beach most days, grilled something quick fro dinner and we were off again! We shopped till we dropped, doing our part to stimulate the economy. It was great having so much shopping so close by. We also took the short drive to the beautiful town of Watch Hill. I would be happy to rent again next year. I also felt so comfortable knowing that you were just a phone call away. Thanks again.

The house is as described! When we arrived in early July, we had brand new carpeting through out the house. The bathroom downstairs (which is a complete plus!) was brand new and beautiful. The upstairs bathroom was clean and neat. The kids played video games downstairs, which helped keep them out of our hair.
The beds were comfy and the rooms were freshly painted.
The house is conveniently located near the beach and other local attractions.
We have booked again for next summer!!

I stayed at their home this summer. We had such a great time, the area and house was so convenient. When we arrived the house was clean and had all the amenities of home. We have been staying in the area for years and this home was ideal.
The room and bathroom downstairs was brand new and great for the kids, I have 3 small children. You could tell the house was freshly painted and new rugs in some of the rooms. The backyard was great for the kids.
There was a minor lock problem with the back door, I was able to get in touch with the owners immediately and someone was there within the hour to fix it.
Can't wait for next year and she gave us first choice for the same week again..

My family rented this house over the New Years weekend last year and it was everything that the description said it would be and more. The bedrooms were clean and the beds comfy with fresh clean linens and that says a lot coming from me, the woman who brings her own sheets to a hotel! There were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, utensils, everything that I have in my own home. There was even a washer dryer - a lifesaver when you are traveling with a 1 year old as I was at the time. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of seating both in the living room and dining area. The owner even provided take out menus, local restaurant menus and brochures of attractions in the area which made it so easy to see the sights and go out to eat without a hassle. The bathroom was spotless and you could tell it had just been refinished, not a speck of mold on the shower curtain! Not only would I recommend this property to a friend, I think we will be renting it again this year if it is available. A big THANK YOU to the owners who obviously care about their house and their guests. Good job!
