Probably the best value in town. Clean, courteous and relaxing environment. I was at first apprehensive to have my room adjacent to the breakfast room, but then I loved it —coffee and biscuits available whenever. Also a bar fridge and microwave in the courtyard for guests to use. The room was clean and comfortable. I slept very well for the four nights I stayed. Just a lovely vibe about the place, and breakfast was delicious with its freshly baked bread, boiled eggs, yoghurt and fruit.

Nothing. I was worried about not having a kettle or a bar fridge in my room but as I’ve said above —the breakfast room continues to have tea and coffee available all day, and there’s a guest fridge in the courtyard if you need it.

The hotel is very nice, clean and homey. The hotel owner as well is very kind and accommodating. Their warm hospitality makes me feel like home. They provide a very good breakfast and also they will help out to recommend the best place to go around Visby or in Gotland. The hotel location is also very near to the ferry terminal so it's an easy walk like 10mins from there. it's a perfect place for a solo traveler like me. I have made the right decision to choose Hotell Stenugnen in spending my birthday so memorable. Highly recommendable.❤️

A great place to stay in Visby - lovely location and very very very good breakfast. I do not expect it to be very good but it's superb. The room is spacious and so comfy. I would love to stay back once again. The owner is very kind and really helpful to all tourists.

This wonderful hotel is very cozy and discreet. Located at the center of Visby and within walking distance to everything. The decor is welcoming and very comfortable with a very nice breakfast offered and extremely efficient personnel.

For rooms on the ground floor facing the street, there is risk of noise from passersby and light traffic. There was also a music event directly across the street on the Saturday evening we stayed there, but they respected the 22.45 noise curfew.

Very nice and cozy Swedish style bed & breakfast. Good location, walking distance from everything in the city. Good breakfast. Staff very kind. Easy self check-in if you arrive later than 3pm.

By far the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Sweden for that price! Perfect location, bright & tasteful interior, convenient a large parking nearby, nice breakfast and very friendly & helpful owners. Will come back for sure!

Very friendly staff and good location. They provided coffee that you could take for free during the afternoon and evening which was nice. They also had a fridge where you could put your own drinks and food. Overall a wonderful place to stay at if you are visiting Visby.

Breakfast was amazing. I didn't expect to have such a great offer of food for this time of the year (September). Also they consider your diet restrictions (dairy free milk). The hotel is 7 min walking from a platform where if you feel brave, you can take a dip in the ocean. You can leave your luggage after check out if you have a late departure. The location is just perfect, right in the middle of the city and you can go walking everywhere.

I'd consider to have a more comfortable chair to sit in case you need to work with your computer and don't wanna use the living room area. Tap water from room 11 doesn't taste good, so it will be nice to have access for fresh tap water at the reception.
