The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good and the room was clean and the bed comfortable.
The bathroom! It's a nicely appointed bathroom but the shower is TINY! There's a curtain rather than a door and water ended up everywhere. Also grouting has seen much better days. Nowhere to hang towels, had to drape them over the toilet. No opening window and a noisy fan - the condensation was still there in the morning making the mirror unusable. The fridge was noisy and the curtains extremely thin. The room faces approximately east so an early wake up pretty much guaranteed.

There was a buffet breakfast with a decent choice . It was served in the restaurant between 7.30 and 9.30 . There is an Italian themed menu for other meals . I dined there one evening , where I had a good pizza and very good ice cream . The hotel was in walking distance from the rail station , which was important for me . There is a pub across the road , and there are a variety of fast food shops close by .
I had a problem with the safe in my room . But when I mentioned this at reception , I was given a key to the safe so the problem was solved without any hassle . The two small things that I didn't appreciate were as follows ; the shower curtain was too short . Meaning that water splashed onto the floor . The bath towel was too small for my liking . Not exactly deal breakers , but a couple of things that could be better .

The room was very comfortable, with friendly staff and a really good breakfast. Nice to have parking and great value for money.
There was a very musty smell up the stairwell and the water pressure in the shower was rather low.

The staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Really clean, comfortable nicely furnished room. Italian food on site which I had as take away room service. Great price.. would definitely return. Thank you so much 😊

The staff were very pleasant and helpful; the bathroom was a good size and had a jacuzzi and sauna; nice towels and bathrobes were provided
Our bedroom was too small for the 4 poster bed and furniture such that it was difficult to manoeuvre around the bed on one side; at night there was constant noise from a fan or other nearby appliance which kept us awake; breakfast was basic and the coffee not so good which was disappointing.

Very convenient location, comfy and quiet room, free parking (although limited spaces), plentiful breakfasts, and very attentive staff. An excellent location for walking pretty much anywhere needed. Superb restaurant on-site and a great pub next door.
Heat went out in the middle of the night. Hotel staff fixed the next morning. Still issues the following night but was checking out early AM.

The breakfast was good with a selection of cereals, nuts, dried and fresh fruit, and a wide selection of cooked breakfast,

In an excellent location close to the centre. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the bed and quilt very comfy and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing. Brilliant value for money.
The only thing I might change is thicker curtains to block out the light… but that is just my preference.

I had to take a bus to get to the city centre. However, there was a bus stop about 1 minute from the hotel.

Clean room with a fabulous shower and bath. I had a room at the back of the hotel which was great for me as had a vehicle in the car park I could keep an eye on. My room did not have a fridge, but as soon as I alerted the staff, they were able to provide me with one with no issues. The location was good as was right near the bus stop to travel into the town center easily.
I was also able to use the car park pre and post-checkout - which was great.
Dinner was also nice - not a lot of vegan options though.
Breakfast was tasty but very much on the small side.

Lovely breakfast in the adjoining restaurant, we also had delicious pizza there too the night before!!!!
The Sauna in the bathroom was fun and relaxing.
The hot water was temperamental, this made our jacuzzi bath a bit cold!

Breakfast was supposed to be served from 7:00am but it wasn't true. They weren't ready. I had to catch a train early in the morning so I could only grab quickly something from the buffet they were still preparing. I feel I've paid for a breakfast I haven't really had eventually. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was because of the breakfast. I was disappointed.

Unpretentious and great breakfast. Comfortable bed and nice decor. The location is perfect for us for visiting family and we are repeat visitors.
This time it was quiet but when we stayed in the summer it was noisy out back with kids shouting til midnight!
