Good location, easy to find. Quite a basic room but plenty of space. Good value for money

I didn't like the bed. It was in very poor condition and requires an upgrade

The bed was good and parking was right outside our room.

There was no tea towel. The shower floor needed to be rinsed before we used it. Pillows were a bit hard for me.

The staff were very friendly and super helpful, It was really handy to the event we were attending at the showgrounds

The place is a bit tired, it really needs a refresh

It needs an update. Simply things like a welcome pack. Disappointing as we were there for work and had a formal event. Power points and lighting in the accommodation was not up to a high standard.

As above but overall it was disappointing. For 2 professional females the facilities was not great.

Location was excellent for me as I was working at the Auckland Showgrounds, just 1 block away. Supermarket and Joes Garage within area too. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I froze! There is no proper heating in the rooms and with exposed windows in the ceiling there was no point in trying to heat the room. The carpet was ruined and lifting. I felt like I was going to trip over when I walked around the room. Difficult to see in the bathroom at night as only 1 small light. Generally run down.

Upgrade was no better - unclean/cockroaches & generally felt unsafe

It was an easy commute to get to Greenland but it would have been better to find somewhere else.

The room was dark and smelt musty . The was only one small window in the entire room including bathroom and kitchen. The decor is badly dated with the bed and couch showing signs of age and serious sinkage in the mattress and couch. There were no bedside tables and the bathroom was in poor condition and really needing a renovation to get to motel standard and the 20th century. MIrror in bathroom was stained wth grey black splotches over it… these continued to the basin area and the vanity door was warped by water and breaking down. There were no fans and the heating was a plug in appliance. Also there was no phone in the room or way to contact reception or call out. The room felt dingy and dirty would not recommend. Then there were the neighbours who were having domestics through the afternoon and then partying with loud music through the night…. Not a place to stay if you want to rest at all. Ceiling rafter was broken, pint chipping everywhere… only good thing… good water pressure and bath was ok…

Very tired, lick of paint doesn’t cover the age and tiredness of this property. Grounds unkempt.
