The room was beautiful, stylish and made you feel like being in a fairytale. The beds were very comfortable and big. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was welcoming, very helpful, and nice. We would definitely come back again.

Located in a valley, this place has a wonderful view of the surrounding. Additionally, it offers a nice garden with a pool where one can relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape. The hosts are also very helpful and friendly although we checked in outside of the normal time. Rooms are also very neat and clean.

As we were hiking most of the days, we would have liked to have a small fridge in the room, where we can leave some snacks for the hikes.

The grounds were beautiful, the place was clean and homey, I felt comfortable the moment I stepped in. I wish I could stay there longer!! The host was incredible she was so kind and hospitable. I highly recommend staying here.

A very relaxing stay , the Casa/Hotel is well located in a quiet part of Sao Vicente . With a nice pool In lovely relaxing gardens. The staff were excellent and super friendly, would highly recommend this Casa , and will definitely be back .

Light and clean. Room was very pleasant and had a good nights sleep. Staff were lovely and friendly. Complimentary Pastel de Nata pastry and Madeiran liquor was very nice touch.

I would have liked a plug socket near the bed, but that’s just a little thing. Not too bothered as the rest was so nice.

Beautiful old traditional Casa with stunning gardens and pool. Staff so very helpful and could not do enough for you. Tranquil location ideal for walks in the surrounding area.

Absolutely everything! The house is in a beautiful spot in the mountains with amazing views from the rooms. The house is beautifully decorated and feels really homely. The lady of the house welcomed us like family and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was a delight every morning and you got the chance to chat to other guests. Lovely gardens and pool to relax in when the sun is out.

Leaving! I could see that the wallpaper near the windows were stained and looked a little damp. They could do with a refresh to keep the house looking fab. It didn't detract much from this glorious guest house

Gorgeous B&B, really lovely building which is decorated and maintained to a really high standard. Bedrooms and the beds themselves were very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was really good, really sets you up for the day! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were very welcoming and helpful.

That we came in winter (Feb) and not in summer when we could have taken more advantage of the pool and lying in the sun!

First of all, the hosts were great. Rubina welcomed us so warm, and was really helpful throughout our stay. We even got a welcome treat which was a great touch, especially queijada which was an intro to the great pastry that Madeira has to offer. Even before our arrival hosts offered to help us with a rental car which we accepted. The car company they connected us with was great and we got a car for a considerably lower price than what we could find online. I would say a car is almost a must for this property, especially considering its position - you can reach a lot of parts of the island easily from it. In addition, there is a lot of parking space on premises. The house and the room were really great. Everything was clean and the beds were really comfy. The room had a nice colorful vibe. We did not use the garden that much but it looks peaceful and nice with a swimming pool. One thing I would recommend are the restaurants near the sea, especially Caravela (try lapas grelhadas!). You should definitively visit Poncha De Sao Vicente as well and try one of the best poncha we had on the island.
