Excellent breakfast. Excellent host and hostess, very friendly and informative.

Small shower room, difficult shower to use. Room was for twin occupancy but not much space to move around, wash basin in room and not near toilet.

Wow, what a lovely guest house owners Amelia and Chris have. They made me feel so welcoming, so friendly as if I had known them longer than I have. Everything was lovely and they couldn’t do enough for me, very well looked after. I’m already look forward to going back to stay. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks so much both 🙂

Room was comfortable with a TV and an arm chair. The room temperature could be controlled by the guest 24/7. The view from the room was over the park and was quiet. The breakfast was good, with a choice. The cooked breakfast was grilled ... not greasy with a variety of foods, plus cereal, fruit juices, coffee and tea and fruit and toast. The position of the accomodation is excellent with just a short 2 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk to Paignton town, bus station and rail station.

the room was cold and heating wasn’t on when arrived so I turned it on and it took me all night to get warm sadly and I didn’t like that we didn’t have bottled water it was only tap and tap water doesn’t taste nice. And my partner said the shower wasn’t hot enough for him. Also loud noises coming from upstairs I think it was the toilet flushing or pipes of some kind made me jump at night but apart from those few things was overall happy with the service we received no do respect to Amelia as she was lovely and Ernie the dog

Breakfast was beautifully cooked every morning, yet despite not having a cooked breakfast myself I was offered an alternative which was very carefully thought out. The cleanliness was exceptional and everyone so friendly and helpful.

The location of the guest house is situated opposite the park in a lovely quiet area right by the beach at goodrington, Amelia and Chris are the perfect hosts and made our stay very welcoming,breakfast and facilities are great and very clean, a short pleasant walk into paignton took us about 10 mins,all in all a great few days away.

Excellent location to reach local shops, beach and steam train. Absolutely lovely hosts and provide a nice breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast, good choice and good quality ingredients. Lovely quiet location next to a park adjoining the steam railway line about 10 minutes walk from town centre.

Nice location offering two walking routes into the town, one strenuous and scenic and the other flat. There was free parking in the road. The breakfast options were lovely and the dining well organised.

I couldn't get any hot water in the shower on just one morning. The bed was a bit too soft for me - though it may suit others fine.

the whole experience was superb the room was spotless, as was the whole guest house, breakfast was perfect, we were very pleased we chose this guest house the hosts were amazing very attentive we would definitely stay here again and would recommend it for a perfect stay.

We were very well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely clean room and a good size and breakfast was fab. Would definitely go again.

Everything.... Location Setting Brilliant hosts Food Rooms are immaculate Get a good night sleep. Superbly quiet at night Brilliant gem of a hotel right by Goodrington Park and the beach. The owners go out of their way and would fall over backwards to help in any way shape or form. Will return and would highly recommend

Everything about the place. Chris and Amelia were lovely caring genuine people. My room was very cozy and homely, breakfast was beautifully cooked, presented and served. Nothing was to much trouble.
