Very very close to the entrance of the place I wanted to visit: the completely intact Roman walls. The are budget friendly stores nearby. The water is potable. With room heater, wifi, tv and hot and cold bath.

I was travelling and transiting to Lugo by bus. I was happy with the location because the bus station was right around the corner. My bus left early in the morning so I had plenty of time in the morning to get ready to depart.

I did not have any issues with the hotel. It is an older building. The rooms are older but still have a modern appeal to them. I felt like this hotel is more for a short-term stay. It is convenient for travelling through.

the location was fantastic - very central - 3 minutes from the bus station and close to everything of interest - including great cafes and all the shops and touristic sites . the cleaning staff were delightful, friendly ,helpful and efficient and the general staff were quick to respond and helpful. prices were good and rooms clean and comfortable.

because the walls and ceilings are thin it was too easy to hear noisy and inconsiderate guests in adjoining rooms or in the flats above . A pity because the actual location is very quiet . no blame to the hostal- just the fault of the noisy guests

only the location and not expensive stay

The staff doesn’t exist and customer care is absent. We had a very bad experience with this hotel and faced a series of extremely unpleasant situations: - they gave us a PIN code to enter into the property that didn’t work - after quite some time, an incorrect PIN number was given to us and we ended up into someone else room - A guest was there and we saw him completely naked! We raised our concerns to the hotel and Booking.com but nothing happened

No breakfast It was dirty. No reception service. Room was tiny. Bathroom so tiny could not open door Bed linen and towels stank of cigarettes Worst place I have ever stayed in after 40 years of travel. Booking.com should be embarrassed to promote this place

Great location, just outside the walls of the old city. Shower and washbasin in the room (but shared toilet down the hall). Comfortable bed. Reasonable sized room. Good price. Window can be opened for ventilation (this might seem an odd thing to note, but so many places seem to lack this). The bar next door opens early for breakfast.

This is an unattended facility; check in is done remotely. There is no staff on site. I didn't receive the access codes until after the check-in time. When I arrived there were four people locked outside without codes. Fittings and finishes getting worn (curtain hanging loose for example). The room door was jamming, so it had to be slammed shut; not nice for other guests. And sadly, there was a bedbug in my bed (just one, strangely, which fortunately I could remove once I discovered it - or rather once it has discovered me!) so that didn't help improve my experience.

Lots of stairs

Only a few minutes walk from the old city and it's many attractions. Also cafes and a supermarket were very close. Breakfast was available from a small cafe beside the building.

The sound insulation between floors and rooms was not very good, and some residents got going very early. There are no staff on duty in the building; you can only contact them via phone.

The code access was brilliant and easy - secure and very quick / el código para entrar era muy facil y rapido

Good location right in the centre. Easy to enter with the code system. Convenient on-street parking. Good value for money

Great location and value.

Check-in was a nightmare. It is an online process that will require Wi-Fi and texting capabilities. We were pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago without phone service in Spain. We rely on Wi-Fi provided by the hotels that we stayed in to communicate and keep updated. Booking does not tell you about the check-in process very well. After borrowing a phone from a stranger to contact the hotel, we were instructed to text pictures of our passports to their office to receive a code to get into the building. The operator insisted that we had an email from the hotel sent that morning but without cell service we could not retrieve the communication. We were lucky to find a local resident that would help by allowing the use of their phone and data. If you are a pilgrim on the Camino de Santiago with limited phone service, I would find other accommodations with an actual person checking you in.

Waiting to get in

Staying here was a surreal experience. No check in except over phone. Did not see any other people in building. Room was very dated and cramped. Bathroom had plug in hairdryer over sink.
