A great hotel with a Spa, in a quiet area of Dortmund. Friendly & accomodating staff.

Wie das Hotelteam versucht hat, einen missglückten Aufenthalt noch erträglich zu gestalten.
Dass man an einem Spieltag des BVB, nach 4 Stunden Autofahrt , noch 3Stunden auf den Check in warten muss und das Zimmer nur auf mein Drängen hin, noch vor Anpfiff beziehen kann.Ansonsten erst nach dem Spiel , ( gehen 0.00 Uhr) und das bei einem Preis von 192.- Euro. Desweiteren, Teppichboden in den Zimmern, der auch nicht mehr dem Standart eines 4 Sterne Hotels entspricht. Außerdem pfiff die Heizung , regelmäßig mehrmals die Stunde , die ganze Nacht, sodass an Schlaf nicht zu denken war. Dann war in der Steckdose noch ein Metallteil , vermutlich vom Zimmervorgänger abgebrochen, damit war diese Steckdose auch nicht nutzbar, nicht schlimm , aber auch nicht toll. Am nächste Morgen wurde ich nach all diesen Vorgängen, wenigsten mit einem tollen Frühstück, mit freundlichen Personal entschädigt.

Overall it was good and the staff was friendly. However, there were no disposable slippers in the room and bed comfort could have been better. Also, the lack of a mini fridge is a minus.

Very nice Hotel with very friendly personal. the rooms were very clean and even if the hotel has seen some years everything is clean and well maintained. Two very nice restaurants with a beer garden in a wonderful landscape.
There was a marriage that was a bit too loud for guests that would like to sleep.

The room was spacious and clean, with excellent water pressure in the shower; my husband really enjoyed the bath. Breakfast was lovely, though I would have appreciated bacon in a warmed dish as opposed to one plate of bacon sitting out in the cold air. The bread was excellent and the selection was good.
The spa was great, a lovely big pool and hot jacuzzi we enjoyed while we stayed there. My husband booked a massage and had nothing but praise afterward. We did not get a chance to use the sauna, so can't speak on it.
Service in the restaurant could be improved, the wait was long, the waitress mostly ignored us and we eventually had to ask a different waiter for the bill.

The sauna starts at 9 a.m.. this is not good planed because most of the people leaving at that time. If the swimming pool is open at 6.a.m, the sauna must also in order to provide the best relax!

lovely clean and very comfortable room, and we enjoyed the pool too. We enjoyed a very good meal at the hotel and the restaurant staff were excellent.

beds are too narrow. For large people it’s not big enough.
and at the restaurant the food was just horrible. They made mistakes at every course and de didn’t get all the things we ordered but they were all on the bill ! that was corrected of course but still.
