Of yourse you need car. Without a car I do not recommend so much. Breakfast is very basic but included. I would charge additional 5 eur per person and make it fabulous.

Everything was excellent. A really relaxing place away from the noise and close to everything, beautiful beaches and the village of Palaikastro. The staff was super kind. We will go again.

Good base to explore this side of the island, nice tavernas in Paleokastro. Hotel is quiet setting, very clean and nice pool. Its the typical greek old fashioned fixtures but originally built with good quality products it all functions well. Good breakfast, would come back again.

Excellent breakfast, wide choice, waitress service, in a pleasant location. Lovely swimming pool In gorgeous setting. Very kind, friendly and helpful hosts, especially Yorgos. Checkout at 12.00. Room was nicer and larger than the photos suggested. Natural setting of trees, shrubs and flowers delightful. Would return in an instant.

For us, having a kettle in the room to make tea and coffee would have made it perfect. To be fussy, the possibility of a fried-egg at breakfast, and air-conditioning in reception would be good.

The included breakfast was great, rich enough to get up full of energy. All the beaches in the area are within 15 min drive.

Keep in mind that even in the middle of summer, it's reaaaally windy over there. The Vai beach with the palm trees is by far the best and the less windy of them all. It has sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, toilets, big parking area, restaurant, cafe bar, and the best snorkeling I've seen anywhere in Crete. The fauna variety is just spectacular. The other beaches are great for wind surfers and they don't provide sunbeds and umbrellas, they are quite rocky both in and out of the water.

Good value for money. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had a small fridge that was very handy in keeping some fresh water and fruits. The breakfast was tasty and they did their best to comply with hygiene rules due to covid-19.

The air condition was quite old and made a terrible noise on the last night of our stay. We mentioned it to the manager who was very kind. He acknowledged the problem immediately and he explained their intention to replace them in the winter.

Great calm location, amazing staff, nice pool, beautiful garden, tasty breakfsast, bar, all you need for good vacation. Recommended to those ho prefer calm and relaxing atmosphere out of the beaten track!

The only thing I was missing is separated trashbins for recycling purposes, otherwise the place is a 10.

The staff were friendly and accommodating and very helpful. I had an issue with a burn and they helped with this. It is in a beautiful location as the pool is great. 10/15 min walk to a wonderful beach and excellent taverna. Breakfast was served quickly and had a good choice

No complains

This is small familly lead hotel located in oil forest (in the middle od nowere). The morning view when you open the window is like in Toscany: sunshine, mountains, oil forest. Everything was very ok. Rooms are not modern but with climate and clean. There is pool are which is ok. Close to windsurf spot and few good Tavern.

Comfortable, simple and clean room in a nice hotel with a special location and a great host. We definitely recommend this place in the beautiful and quiet eastern part of crete.

The breakfast could be better.
