Location is awesome, with probably some of the best views in the Garrotxa region. Staff was friendly, dedicated and helpful.

Everything was perfect

Very friendly staff always ready to help. Amazing view on the mountains around, nature, fresh air. The hotel is built right near a church, and the hotel is actually a place where monks used to live.

It's quite hard to get to the hotel - you can only use a car or taxi. The road is a mountain serpentine. The breakfast was tasty but quite simple and there were no proteins like eggs.

The ambiance, the views, the personnel friendliness kindness and professionalism - everything was just spectacular! Long walks in the forest twice a day, relaxing terrace mountain watching.. perfection, I've already recommended to all my friends!

the walls are very thin and I am light sleeper - I could hear every movement of the neighbour room, however my family in another room reported complete quietness and noise free three nights so maybe its just this one room was has this unfortunate flaw.

Bathrooms very spartiate

This property is definitely off the beaten path and from the moment you drive up the forested twisty road listening to all the birds chirping, you get a feeling of peace and tranquility. The view from the terrace was exceptional - it was very relaxing to enjoy a drink or a coffee. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful despite limited English. The dinner and service were excellent and the view from the dining room was beautiful. There is a hiking trail right from the property but unfortunately we didn't have time to do it.

The hotel rooms are very old, rather dated and a bit dark as the windows are small. Having said that, the view from these small windows is beautiful and the room was clean. Also the price we paid including breakfast and dinner was very reasonable. Wifi did not really work in our room (at the far end of the hotel) but it worked well in the reception area, terrace and the dining room.
