Near to centre of Flers
I was not advised of change of access code over the weekend so could have been locked out
There coyld have been a much better choice of cereals at breakfast as only one sweet option

typical French breakfast, cheese, ham, eggs and bread. Location being near the centre of town good access to restaurants and bars etc
The entrance to the hotel was not welcoming, with 4 threadbare flags at the gateway, the car park full of weeds and general feeling that it needed a good tidy up.

good secure parking, friendly staff and comfortable room in the centre of Flers. Wouldn’t hestitate to return when that way again.

We sure posted that check-in was from 2 on. We got there at 4 and still no one there. Had to call to find out someone was coming at 5.

The staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The location was fine.
The owner was not at the property when we arrived and the booking in process was complicated and time consuming.

No coffee maker in the room and no 24/7 room service in the hotel. But the overall experience was great!!!

Very rude and aggressive lady receptionist. Immediately on arrival she insisted we pay and give her details of what we wanted for breakfast next day. I said we would do this after we’d unpacked in our rooms. She was just hopeless in every way.

Was dated and had stains on the headboards damaged shelves in the bathroom and shower door..

The food was ok but it would have been a more pleasent experience if there had been windows in the room.
We found that the room was very cold on our arrival so the first night we put the heating on, But when we got in after our second day out visiting the area the heating was off and the room was very cold again. This time the heater would not work at all. We did not have a comfortable nights sleep as we were all cold.
We did tell the staff in the morning and she came and had a look and agreed that the heater did not work.
On arrival we were asked if any breakfasts were required and we said just 2 as our friend is a Vegan and just eats fruit.
When the bill was settled we had been charged for 3 breakfasts on both mornings, on the second morning our friend did join us but she had very little to eat.

Breakfast was excellent. Information given by the hotel in the event of a late arrival was comprehensive. Temperature of the room was good.
For 2 people in a double room, 1 small and 1 shower towel is not adequate. Neither is 1 tooth cup. Also, the mattress needs replacing, it threw us to the middle of the bed.
