- the location is prime! - they work with a local tour company which offer great Amazon tours for cheap money (~160€/3 days!) compared to other online companies that’s a fabulous deal! - staff super nice and helpful - huge sofa /hang out area - very comfortable beds!

- the shower wasn’t perfectly clean but I guess that’s also other travelers‘ fault 🙃

The location is good near the theater where the things happen at night in Manaus. Staff is super friendly, especially Bruna (obrigado). Rooms are fine with curtain, outlet and light inside the bed. Bathrooms also ok. Also laundry service was fast. You could book tours with a good agency through the hostel as well.

Some beds have their lockers outside the room also one of the showers says hot water but actually did not work (although Manaus is hot but bit of hot water could have been good). Breakfast is a bit expensive (you could get lunch for cheaper)

Hostel is nice and well organized

Wi-Fi is really weak and unstable. Don’t count with that for working (video calls are not an option at all)

Wifi was inconsistent and often couldn't get on at all especially if a lot of people were using it in the common area. Womens showers had 2/3 locks that didn't work

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms had big lockers and aircon.

The wifi was very poor and constantly dropped. If a few guests connected at the same time it became impossible to use. The wifi had been changed on my last day so this may have improved. But if working remotely have another means to connect to the internet.

The staff makes your stay perfect, the location is great and for every problem there is an easy solution. Everything is possible and all is easy there!

The mattresses are a bit noisy because of the plastic cover. The ground floor dorm is very noisy because it is right next to where everything is happening, but you only need some earplugs.. and all is good.

This is the best location in manaus, close to the best restaurants, bars, super markets and liquor stores. The port is a 10-15min walk from where every excursion starts! Great chilling area too

Very friendly staff, good location, everything was clean and big social area. Buffet style breakfast was great.

Maybe it's just because it's my first stop in Brazil coming from Colombia, but I found breakfast was a bit expensive at $25R. And kinda weird that you have to do your own dishes after paying for breakfast, but not a big deal.

Perfect hostel.

The only thing was that one of their employees forced me to take a photo of me that will stay in their systems. There is no legal requirement for it but I could not refuse.

Excellent location, close to Amazon Theatre, restaurants and grocery. Short walk to market and vendors by the river Port. Comfortable bunks, plug , light and curtains for each, air con keeps dorms cool at night. Big screen with Netflix etc, lots of social space, couches . Staff is excellent, speak Portuguese and English. Large clean showers with hot water, separate for men and women. Secure entrance with 24 hour access. Bruna and Sindy(Bianca) at the front desk are the best. Friendly and always with a smile. Will to help you out with anything you need to make your stay better.

Not much to not like. The street out front looks sketchy but its safe, even at night. Make sure your Uber or taxi knows its " Local Hostel Manuas" not just "Hostel Manuas" that's a different place. Mine dropped me at the other and I had a 10 minute walk to the right location. My mistake, not the hostels. 😊

just amazing! maybe the best hostel I have been in my life: really clean, nice breakfast, nice rooms, close to everything. And the best is the staff: Victor, Bianca and Marco where just AWESOME. really really helpfull, all smiling, kind and professional.
