very clean hostel with comfortable beds, we paid good price for a family of 3 and were given 6 beds room. nice location with plenty of nature walks. great spot for outdoorsy people. restaurant in the lovely hotel building located on the same site.

The staff were so lovely and welcoming , couldn’t do enough for us and we were a large party with kids . And the location is spectacular, amazing views

The staff were really very kind and good humoured. It makes such a difference to your enjoyment of a place. They were always available to help with anything. The breakfasts were amazing. Very generous portions. The whole place is excellent value (we stayed in the hostel) and having access to the bar / restaurant made the week's stay a great mix of self catering and having reasonably priced dinners in the restaurant. The kids menu is excellent. The hostel could benefit with some external cladding to help it blend in with the natural environment, but I appreciate that's a costly job. Overall it was a fantastic place for a week's holiday.

Perhaps a little more vegetarian food on the bar menu and access to a microwave in the hostel kitchen.

It was a lovely setup ,our dorm room was perfect for family , kids really enjoyed, the hostel is set in a beautiful location. The breakfast was served in hotel the staff were very welcoming and very efficient. Fabulous breakfast available. Lots of activity available to book in advance for adventure

The mattress was hard in bump bed it didn’t affect the children sleeping but def I didn’t sleep so well . When I go again I would bring a sleeping bag and maybe sleep on top of quilt that is supplied .

Quick check in, very nice and friendly staff always with big smiles. Food was excellent and facilities great.

The room wasn't cleaned. There were 2 items left from other guests and the floor was full of sand.

The activities are fantastic. A few not running due to current restrictions but we were not left disappointed at all.... We had a hostel room all to ourselves so we couldn't fault that space. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant and plenty of choice.

These are more of note to everyone as they didn't take from our overall experience. A chair in the hostel room woud be good. Some outdoor games for the kids (indoor is closed at present) and possibly a playground for smallies would also help families. There is food available in the restaurant and a small gift shop/cafe shop but you know when you've been as they sure do know how to charge. In saying that they are not massively overpriced but lets be honest with a family of 5 for dinner and lunch each day it adds up way too fast. Nearest fastfood is 30 min away and same for a decent shop if you wanted to buy food for cooking at the hostel kitchen. We didn't know you needed to book breakfast times or dinner times so that left us with harsh times to chose from as that's all that was left. Personally i think you should only be allowed book these on the day of check in to give everyone a chance to chose regular times. Wifi available but shocking poor quality so the teenagers will get a technology detox too...haha... I've been on stronger dial-up connections.

Staff was very nice and very helpful , very nice place to stay , room in hostel had big shower good size toilet and was clean , restaurant was ok there is wifi in hostel but the best working time is 5am :)
