A nice old house with nice rooms and furniture. Small garden which we didn't use partly because of the weather but mainly because of the noisy road. Lots of clean towels and nice bedsheets. Generally a nice and clean house. Code to the gate worked fine.

Very noisy road right in front of the house. Water in the house smelled and tasted badly. Leaking sink in the smaller toilet. House smelled 'closed down for a long time'. An offering of tea, coffee, milk, fruit or water would be nice to welcome new guests. Very small town, Zale. Slightly difficult check in with a host who wants to know when you arrive precisely but we were met by a nice lady. We would have liked to know in advance that someone was living in the so called studio which were part of the house.

Excellent place to stay, less than a mile from Zele and about five minutes drive to Donkmeer. The house is exceptionally clean and has everything you'd need for a stay. Very helpful owner too.

The house has a huge potential but it is a bit run down and definitely could be cleaner.

Host was available and flexible. Very helpful and kind. Communication was good, clear and timely. Good location for family walks to Schelde river. 20 min walk from the train station. You can see that owner is investing to make the place nice - especially outside and garden.

Property is on the edge of the for-line highway - means heavy traffic in mornings and lots of noise. Property was new some 20 years ago. So it is somehow used-out. Although all things are there, e.g. dish washer cannot be regulated to proper dish washing and I had to do it by hands. I was expecting a washing machine for 10 days stay - there is none, etc.
