Rust in het centrum van Turnhout.
Ontbijt is ontzettend duur. Algemeen is het hotel zeer duur in vergelijking met wat ze aanbieden.
Als oververmoeid koppel met een baby voor het eerst samen weg gegaan (in 14maanden), hadden dus de late check out gevraagd + betaald. Sinds 10uur in de ochtend meermaals telefoon op de kamer, telkens te laat om op te nemen maar wel wakker geschrokken... Wanneer we dit bij het uitcheken navraagden aan de receptie wist men ons te zeggen dat zij dit inderdaad waren, hadden problemen met de computer waardoor ze niet konden zien dat wij de late check out hadden. 😭 eerste keer doorslapen in 14maanden, of dat was toch de bedoeling...

Mooie schone ruime kamer, fijne badkamer (muv de rechthoekige wc bril), nauwelijks geluid van buren. De locatie is leuk, je zit nagenoeg op het plein met z'n leuke restaurantjes. Vriendelijk personeel aan de receptie.
De sauna vonden wij ook fijn, niet om een hele dag te verblijven maar heerlijk voor een uurtje (of twee).
Parkeren onder winkelcentrum Turnnova, van te voren gereserveer. Dat was ongeveer 12 euro voor 24 uur en was maar op 200 meter afstand.
Wij vonden de bedden (uit elkaar geschoven i.v.m. geen stel) wat te zacht en daardoor wiebelig. Ik denk dat als ze tegen elkaar staan dit al een stuk minder is. Sliepen verder wel goed.

The breakfast was good, that is normal for an hotel in this price-sector, for a little town with not many distractions..
The hotel is well situated in the center of the town, but the very most of the views are on the roofs of the houses beside.
There is no restaurant in that hotel... not even a snack....
that big big pillows.... impossible to sleep with that..... I asked for an ergonomic pillow.... they asked 20 euro,, i did refuse to pay for that. I also asked for an adaptor for my laptop, they gave me an old one, i brought it back to the office after using it 3 days, and they factured me 16.90 euros for it on the hotel bill, they did not tell me that I had to pay for that.... I bought an adaptor after leaving the hotel.... it costed 9.90
For the price of that hotel, the things they make you pay extra are really not welcome.....
This was the 2nd time i came to Turnova, but i will no more come back there,

We did not take breakfast at the hotel, in part because it seemed pricey at 22 euros. The reception upon arrival was friendly and efficient. The room seemed small for a four star hotel outside of a major urban center. The room was not made up the first night. Would recommend that your presentations describe in more detail how to find the parking garage. Also more focus on the location, which is quite good.

The location in the citycenter is great. But I think for me that's the only thing I want to be enthousiast of.
Not that something went wrong or quality is poor, but for the amount I paid I wasn't satisfied...
The price/quality is far overrated! The location in the city is great. But it only is Turnhout. For the same (or even lower) price I stayed recently in more fancy and more original hotels in more famous cities like Gent, Brussels, Kopenhagen, Madrid... It's a new hotel, in a very 'hip' new area in the city, so in my opinion they missed a chance to also give it a great hotel.
One big minus: the shower! Full of lime scale so only out of half of the waterholes came water.
And when I checked in, the room was cold! The room was 18,5 degrees, bathroom only 16.
