This is an exceptional place to stay and explore beautiful East Devon. We were well looked after by our splendid host Martine. We enjoyed the excellent breakfasts and home made produce, as well as the treats like afternoon cakes! The cheerful farm sounds come to life once you are outside and it is very much home from hoem feel about it. We had a very happy time and cannot recommend it highly enough. We shall be back!

Great location, which was so peaceful. Spacious room and bathroom, finished to a high standard and was immaculate and clean. Lovely to have fresh milk provided for the teas/coffee and the sweet treats were a bonus. Good selection of breakfast items, which were very tasty. Overall, great value for money and hosted by the lovely Martine and her family.

Visiting out of season in colder weather we found the underfloor heating didn't really warm the room sufficiently for us. Pictures of the lounge area with the log burner and sofas (was looking forward to sitting next to this after a day out and about) are misleading as they are not now available to guests. Wifi in bedroom very poor.

a very clean and spacious area. fantastic shower and lovely extra touches such as home made shortbread and afternoon cakes. friendly family and breakfast was lovely with good choices. in the middle of a group of farms so perfect to relax....forget your mobile despite the hosts trying with boosters etc, not good but you know what in these crazy busy days it was a real respite and enjoyable. sheep as neighbours...nothing to fault at all....highly recommend....go in sept. scarecrow and village festival week....not far into Sidmouth either...cannot rave enough about this place...thanks all

A very unique location, very quiet and relaxing environment. Very well maintained and specious property. Definitely would recommend to family and friends and of course we will be returning in the near future.

We enjoyed the breakfast and liked the tea and coffee facilities with fresh milk and biscuits. Also the afternoon cake was a lovely treat. Everything was very clean and modern. Bed comfortable and peaceful setting.

Could have been a little more generous with the shower gel/shampoo. More information of the area, i.e. maps and places to visit, in the room, would have been useful.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, great breakfast, nice rooms, beautiful location.

No street lights , very peaceful area. The rooms and facilities I would rate at five star hotel. Delicious breakfast , Martine made amazing cookies and cakes. Very friendly family and the little daughter just adorable Will definitely recommend this place or come back next time we are in Devon

Outstanding property. Our room was immaculately clean and the furniture and fittings were of the highest quality. Bed very comfortable. The owners were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Good choices. Lots of nice touches e.g. home made cookies, teapot in the room and fridge too.
