this was just heaven. so modern. so close to the airport. the bathroom was to die for. really nice host. if I could I would buy this place. we were there after the severe snow storm so the ice and cold was bad but the house was so warm and the bed! heaven! only wish we stayed longer.

Steinthora and Casablanca apartments are wonderful. A perfect location to stay the night before our flight back to the States. In fact, if you don’t mind a little drive it’d even be nice to stay here when visiting Reykjavík. Steinthora was extremely responsive and accommodating. The apartment was well appointed, very clean, warm and cozy. She even let us check out a little late. Thank you!

Extremely convenient at only 6 minutes from the airport so a short drive whether hiring a car or using a taxi. Lovely location and great having apartment upstairs and down as there were 9 of us. Well maintained, well equipped and in general a lovely place. Host popped round to make sure everything was okay. So yes all in all a fantastic place to stay in an amazing country.

We really liked the place . you will find everything you need there. The owner was very nice and communication was perfect . I really recommand !

Clean and tidy and spacious. There were plenty of homely touches like UK plug plank. It’s in a quiet area away from the traffic. Huge Smart TV so I could login to my Netflix and watch a film. The owner was really quick to reply to all my messages and did everything she could to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Before our arrival she sent photos of the property so it was easy to find. Delighted with our stay.

We did struggle with the key box but called the owner and she was lovely and helped us. You need to use two hands and a bit of jigging.

Everything about the apartment was perfect and we loved our stay there. The apartment is huge and it was perfect for 4 adults. It’s very very clean and feels cosy and homely. the host was also very responsive and friendly. The kitchen is equipped will everything so it was great for cooking. I would have loved to stay longer and was sad to leave. Would stay here again for sure whenever I’m back in Iceland.

Everything about the property was perfect. Close to lagoon, close to volcano hike. Everything you need is in the property from dish washer to clothes washing machine. Smart tv.

Large apartment close to the airport. We only stayed one night before our early morning flight, but had a great last night here. The kitchen is well stocked, comfortable beds, there's a parking space next to the house and the apt is very spacious. Host is very friendly and sends clear instructions for check-in.

Facilities in the apartment were excellent. apartment suited our purpose in being close to the airport.

The several mentions to avoid noise made me anxious. the area were the apartment is located was quite noisy outside which didn't particularly bother me but seemed ironic in light of the warnings to be quiet.

Big apartment (2 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, big bathroom), well organised. Full of amenities (survival food included). Well equipped kitchen. Big TV ! Perfect internet connection. Parking space for free. Peaceful area. Nice owner. We booked one night in order to stay closed to the airport (+/- 6 minutes by car), but the apartment is so nice that you can stay more days to visit the area. Check-in very fast and flexible: the key was available in a secured box with code.

The price is high (as usual in Iceland), but lower than other apartments / hotel rooms closed to the airport.
