The decor was beautiful and so comfortable. We enjoyed every aspect of the property- the pool, the outdoor dining table, and were able to watch the French Open in the comfortable sitting room. It was an easy drive into town. We had a great time.

This house was beautiful and was equipped with everything we needed. The views were even better! I thought the stairs might be a problem for us, but they weren’t. The separate buildings worked well for us. We (the parents) took the Pool Cabana so we could slip away when needed, and my daughter with a baby had the Casita so she could put the baby down for naps, etc. Yes, a little pricey, but you get what you pay for! Would definitely go back!

We were a family in town for a College graduation. The view was absolutely breathtaking and very relaxing. The kids had an amazing time swimming and spending time with the family. The neighbors were friendly, the town was very quaint and filled with very friendly people and cute shops. Would definitely recommend this property. Thank you for allowing us to utilize your home.

Our family used the property for a relaxing family get away to celebrate 50th anniversary. Every room has it's own bathroom great set up for couples wanting to get away. The kiddos enjoyed exploring on the property. Relaxing, GREAT views

First off thank you to the property owners for letting us experience this beautiful home up on the mountains. This home is now far most one of my favorites. The stairs up to main house is beautiful . The house has everything you need from the kitchen,the bathrooms and the outsides. The living room and bedrooms have balconies with spectacular views to the mountains and down to the swimming area. The pool has changing colored lights that the kids really enjoyed. There was two separate living quarters included with this rental which was a plus with my family. Once again thank you for the wonderful experience we really enjoyed our weekend.

This home was all that we expected and more. The views were absolutely beautiful. The house had everything you could ever desire or need. The family members we hosted were in awe and loved their rooms. Best wedding weekend! Thanks for all the great memories.

AMAZING PROPERTY!
The property is secluded BUT it’s only 5-10 minutes from downtown Wimberley and all the great shops!! The house is STUNNING! AMAZING views! Daily visits from a beautiful fox!! Everything about this property is A+!!!

Amazing Views Tranquil Escape
We had a great stay at this property, it was private, quiet, in a great neighborhood, and yet super close to town. The views were amazing day and night! If you’re looking for a private escape this is the place.

Family Reunion
Our family had such a great time at Casa Escondida. The whole property is just gorgeous. The main house and the casitas were just perfect for our multi-family group. Kids and adults alike had a great time in the pool.

Hill Country Get Away!
This property is awesome. The hill country views were amazing. We enjoyed our time on the deck/pool! The house is really spacious with room for everybody. Family made s’mores in the fire pit! Our kids didn’t want to leave!

Family trip
Home is beautiful and well kept. Would only ask they keep the pool and hot tub a little cleaner. We live in Tx as well and understand how difficult that can be during summer months so it’s not a complaint at all really. You may tell people more about how incredibly steep everything is around the property. Certainly not somewhere anyone of age should be staying as it’s a fall waiting to happen and a long way to fall before you stop if you do fall. Very steep!

Spectacular View
Absolutely a beautiful property that worked well for our family. The only suggestion would be to inform future visitors that there are many levels with many steep steps to each level. It makes for a spectacular view but difficult for anyone 70+

Amazing views of the Texas Hill Country
3 families rented this home over Memorial Day weekend. We were blown away by the views of the house. I’ve never experienced a more peaceful morning cup of coffee. The pool and hot tub were a favorite of all. We bbq’d during the day and at night and enjoyed the hot tub and pool for nightly swims. The space provided easy escapes to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The location made it easy to run to the grocery store for anything that we needed to replenish or that we forgot. Great vacation and we will definitely be back!

The property layout was beautiful and with a phenomenal view. Despite this, we experienced the following issues which were disappointing. * Pool and hot tub were dirty.* Water in hot tub not enough so jets did not work right and smelled moldy.* Hot tub was not working right and needed to turn off circuit breaker on exterior wall.* Garbage on property on other side of pool deck...things looked to be there for some time.* Soap dispensers in some areas were half used; not just unsanitary, but even 3 star hotels have small containers, feels overly scrutinizing of expenses; same with toilet paper, half used and in master (and was not even fitted) did not even fit on dispenser. * Kitchen was disorganized and difficult to navigate. Items were mixed up (in many areas) and not in labeled drawer (cutting board found measuring cups; cooking utensils in different drawers, etc.)* Kitchen shelves and drawers were dirty. Food crumbs found in multiple areas.* Bath towels were difficult to locate (not stocked) until found in dryer. No note or communication indicating as such.* Coffee maker not functional — and did not work.We have stayed at multiple properties over the years through other vacation stay options. This was our first through Vrbo. We do/did not expect perfection, but do/did hope for clean, organized and stocked at a basic level. We have had this consistent experience at other properties and therefore, do/did not feel our expectations are/were unreasonable.

It was an incredible location to spend a socially distanced birthday among friends, and I will be booking this location again for future use. I also know one of the guests at my birthday is also going to book it for an upcoming family reunion that she has annually.

Loved our stay at this beautiful property
This property was perfect for our mini spring break with teen kids and a few of their friends. Because of the great layout, they had their own space to hang out and sleep, but we could all comfortably gather for meals, cards and games in the main house. Management was great as well, they were responsive to questions and very quickly, too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to everyone.

This property was perfect for multiple couples to have their own space and lots of common areas to visit! We went with four other couples and the house worked out perfectly for our group. The views are amazing!

Beautiful and private
This was a great property. It had tons of privacy from neighbors as well as private bedrooms. Everything was clean and comfortable! The view is breathtaking.
Only wish there were more cleaning supplies, we needed a broom and there was not one we could find.

Hilltop Retreat
Beautiful home with great views and privacy both from neighbors and from other guests. Strongly recommend for larger groups looking for weekend retreat in the hill country. 10 minutes from Wimberly.
