Charming and delightful B&B/hotel in an unusual and great location. The breakfast were lovely and all of the staff and owners were attentive and helpful.

Breakfast was served on a terrace in the quiet square in front of the B&B, and was really tasteful. we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the Locanda and Bagno Vignoni.

Full of history and charm this B&B is something special! The 14th century inn was lovingly restored to reflect the beauty of medieval Tuscany while providing comfort. Included was a delicious breakfast of the freshest ingredients. The hot springs were steps away as well as the old pilgrimage trail. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. A highlight of our trip!

Nothing, everything was great.

The staff were lovely and friendly, and there was a nice (slightly hippy) vibe about the place. But room was nicely decorated and very clean. And location superb, right near the action but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing.

Pretty much all the rooms (including mine) seem to be right off the reception / lounge area… rooms are literally separated by 1 (unsoundproof) door. I was worried about this when i checked in as im a very light sleeper and dont like to hear any noise. Fortunately, the receptionists are not there after 8pm, and the only time it impacted my was when a noisy italian couple left at 5am andcwere chatting away in the lounge. I had to put my earplugs in and they left after 10 mins. So although this didn’t actually impact me much i imagine it could be pretty bad if there was a noisy group staying in the hotel too. But maybe im over reacting, it is overall a magical hotel in a magical location.

The room we got ("intimità") is not very comfortable. Double bed but two separated mattresses, no bidet (which you would always expect when travelling in Italy), very tiny shower without any shelf or holder for bath products, too few hangers for towels... really uncomfortable. The room is not very big but that's not an excuse, space could be organized differently to make it more functional. All in all, it was not fully worth the substantial price we paid - you can get better B&B in the area at a cheper rate.

The rooms are in the middle of an amazingly beautiful little village. Everything is perfect, from the cozyness of the rooms, the extra friendly staff to the delicious breakfast served on a lovely terrace nearby. Staying here is a complex memorable experience making you want to return as soon as possible. Thank you!
