It was next to the spa we were visiting. Location was good. Rooms were good value. We checked in early without extra charge

The website didn’t make it clear that the restaurant and bar were off site. The cafe in the health club next door provided food but only until 7pm on a Saturday and the bar closed at 8.30. Although limited alcohol was available from the hotel reception cooler. We had planned on using the facilities after our spa treatments. Then eating later and having a couple of gins/cocktails

Ease of coming/going - payment in advance, with no need for extras - room cleaners didn't attend each day, which we very much preferred

Twin beds requested but double supplied : not an issue, though, as it was so wide. Soap and shampoos in the shower empty. Again not a problem, as we had our own

The breakfast was excellent it wasn't at the hotel but a short walk away at the health club .the prices were reasonable.the staff where excellent! We are looking forward to staying again .!

It could have been less noisy .but that's not the hotels fault .they had a Irish wedding party !! .apart from that not much we didn't like.!

Nice room and bed, relatively luxury feel for price

Heated towel rail gets too hots and burns. Did mention to staff on first visit, this is second visit and we managed to burn ourselves again! Not in town centre but only 6 mins by car.

sheet on bed did not for, pillows where almost non existant, door missing on shower cubicle, stained carpet, at the health club - pool was so cold is was a joke. surprised that a company with the credibility of Ballantynes it was so meh! which I had used the local Premier Inn instead. At least there you know what you will get.
