Very peaceful ! The pool was lovely & the staff were excellent . Good breakfast & spacious rooms.

Food at lunchtime was very average.

Von hier muss man immer das Auto nehmen, zu Fuss geht da gar nichts. Die Elektrik ist mehr ein Gebastel als Professionell, deshalb hat unser Fernseher nur funktioniert, wenn man alle Anschlüsse kontrolliert hat.

2 Pools with lots of room and shade as it was very hot while we were there. The restaurant served superb food and we ate there both nights. The grounds are a picture - manicured grass and beautiful trees. You cannot go wrong staying here.

The pool area is lovely. The breakfast is also excellent.

Unfortunately the description of the facilities/services on booking.com isn't accurate - there is no free shuttle service to the local beaches. We enquired about this on arrival and they advised they don't provide this service. As such, you definitely need a car if you want to use this as a base to explore Syracuse and around (taxi's are pricey). I was looking forward to using the spa at the hotel and was surprised that there was a charge to use the jacuzzi or sauna. I would (of course) expect to pay extra for treatments but would usually expect use of a jacuzzi or sauna to be complimentary. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and the dinner was lovely but the service was very slow as there was only one member of staff serving all of the tables and running the bar. This seemed unnecessary when there were 2 members of staff sitting in the reception area chatting.
