Lovely little spot with a lovely owner. She was super friendly and went out of her way to find us good deals. She helped us to arrange our transportation and tours around the island. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The area felt very safe and residential. Lots of affordable options for delicious local food nearby.

There was a hallway that smelled of smoke (but the rooms did not). The rooms didn't have any way to heat water/make coffee.

A simple but sufficient room , very well positioned , at a really quiet little road (at least it was , in mid April ) , a really helpful owner . All these at a very good price. What else to ask ?

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice and quiet area. The rooms and beds were nice, private and comfortable and a beautiful view.

A little confusing trying to find the room sometimes because there are many buildings that are close by.

We struggled with the stairs mainly because we are not so young!

Easy access for catching buses, food shopping, local cafes and restaurants. Room was cleaned everyday and towels changed daily. Daughter Eva texted my question very fast.

My experience living in the room was fabulous.Room and washroom were very clean with excellent room cleaning service and beautiful view from balcony.

Not much - we had booked a room for two people for two nights and they accommodated a third person when we requested it as we had flight cancellations for one member. We also booked one extra night in advance for one of us. We would have just cancelled everything if we hadn't already paid the original booking when we arrived and saw it and where we were. Lat

We expected to stay in a hotel as advertised and paid for but we were accommodated in an apartment building which consisted of one room for the three us. Location not as advertised, no pool without long walk in extreme heat-the pool was in a completely different location (in the hotel where we should have been staying) and we would have needed transport which was not provided for us without paying taxi prices which are very expensive in this area. We had to carry our luggage from a drop off point on the main street as there was no access to the room for the transport we paid for. It was neither a hotel or an apartment. No bar or communal areas, no reception for queries, no hand sanitizer, no shower gel, no shampoo etc as one would expect in a hotel. Shower was a hose which couldn't be hung up on a high point. No kettle or cooking facilities as you would expect in an apartment. There was a fold up bed beside the table taking up valuable space. Staff were noisy in the morning. Not allowed to wash any clothes so nowhere to hang clothes to dry- had to use their service if required. We could not pay the balancing payment for extra night/people by credit card - cash only. A huge disappointment in an area with little to do! It is not a few minutes walk to Fira - at least 20 which is very difficult in the heat. The shuttle service (taxi) was €18 each way for a 7/8 minute drive to the airport which we had to use four times. We met others who felt exactly as we did.

Transport was organised from the airport.The position was excellent for traveling around the island. A 2 minute walk took us to the supermarket. There were also several good places to eat a short walk away. We could walk to the main town of Fira but sometimes we were lazy and took the short bus ride. The sunrise each morning from our balcony was impressive.

The apartment was a little smaller than I expected ( but the bathroom was big and comfortable ) and also there was no room to prepare meals. There was a fridge and we used the fridge top or the balcony table outside to prepare something. There were no cooking facilities, but we survived very well.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, they organised a car rental for us, collect us from the port and dropped us off to the airport and the room was very comfortable!
