the lady at reception was always welcoming, repeatedly ensuring that I did not need anything more. I have read other feedback both on booking.com and other sites. it saddens me that people don’t let the price match the expectations. it is certainly not the Ritz , Waldorf or the Savoy, but neither does the price reflect that of those three names. some of the fixtures and fittings were a bit outdated, however taking into consideration that the world of tourism has been through what has been a very financially lean period due to Covid, as a member of the travelling period have taken into account, The room was really spacious and the on suite bathroom was adequate. sadly the state of the art shower was more than my brain could fathom how to operate.

the hotel has a roof top pool, which was one of the reason for choosing it. when asked I was told it was not available. probably due to the time of year it would be helpful if this was featured on the booking.com page.

ELovely Day Receptionists with good english from Macedonia. ..and for the Bergama Akropolis..goats and cattle are everywhere in the ruines. So i say; when goats and cattle can go around for free, I can! Go uphill pass the big gate and the few houses and then try up the goattreks a way and your inside.Nobody is checking people.

In Turkey people smoke too much, and so rooms smell often of smoke. If this is the case I suggest the Hotel , put new towels in the room when the new guest arrive. So day smell fresh!!!

Kind madam supports you for every question/problem, good in English Location is about 40min walk from old town and sites but could give you a more comfort especially in high season.

A bit old facilities but really not important.

the staff is extremely kind and very helpful, the place is good and the mornings with the sunrise in the window are wonderful. wifi works good and breakfast in the morning is very traditional.

is a little bit far from the center, like 15 minutes walking to the museum.

The staff, which seemed like members of the same family, were not only pleasant and helpful, but went beyond the call of duty. We asked where we could buy some bread to take on our trip like we had at breakfast, and they ran nextdoor and bought us a loaf and wouldn't take any repayment!!

Hotel badly needs renovation

The lady receptionist with good English was extremely helpful at all times. Above and beyond service. Booked solely on price. Room comfortable. Water hot. Location not an issue with taxi to ruins etc. Markets within 30 meters. Bus stop for Izmir bus 60 meters away. Taxi from main bus depot TRY 15. Good restaurant next door.

An extension cord would be good as power socket not next to bed.

Room was a bit too small for the 4 of us. Breakfast can do with fresh bread and fruit.

The receptionist was very nice and the room super clean. The breakfast was also delicious. I'd stay there again.
