Location is perfect to explore Messina: it is just a few steps from the Messina central station. Rooms very spacious

I had to struggle with the luggage up the stairs. I wished for a lift at that moment. Television remote did not work but I did not care much about Television though

Friendly staff Clean Atmosphere of past eras

- WiFi did not reach my room - TV has 300 channels or so, but only about 5-10% were visible. - Keys are very old style / unsafe. I think I could open other room doors with my key. (not tried)

Only the location

In room 47 bed is like concrete Shower is broken Some pot holes on the floor It’s like a ghost room. Rooms are too hot and they are turning off the AC when we go out. Very old AC and takes hours to cool the room. Having 14 inch tv but no signal for any of tv channels. There is small mini fridge which is empty. There’s a safety locker mounted into wall but they didn’t give any passwords for that. So can’t even open it Worst case is staff can’t even understand any English word. Can’t sleep on that bed. There are lots of good facilities around Messina cheaper than this. Unfortunately I forgot to book that earlier. This is the first and last time for this place. There are some rooms which they offers their gym facility for free. But this one nothing offers more expensive and worst.

the room was quite big and it has all kinds of facilities. The staff was helpful and the best thing is that the checking time is available till 12 Am. everything works and it's a very perfect location and near to the Messina railway station and port are which are at a walkable distance of 3 Min.

Very basic but OK for one night stay. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quite roomy. Staff was nice and helpfull. Hotel is located just next to the central train station which is very convenient.

Everything is quite old and sometimes just fatiqued or worn out, the direct location of the building is next to the road and some kind of bridge or viaduct so on the outside it doesn't look pretty. But overall I felt good there, the style of the interior was sometime a little bit strange but on the other hand interesting.

Old hotel with furniture and showers that could do with being replaced. The noise of the traffic could be heard from the room.

This beautiful Hotel is like living in an amazing museum with fascinating furniture and antic decoration. It’s an old building so the room was huge, clean and very comfortable with big windows. The staff/owners are very friendly doing their best for offering a nice stay. Great location. Within walking distance to the main train station, the harbor for the ferry to Regio Calabria, to the city center and shopping area. Highly recommended! I will definitely stay again on my next trip to Catania.
