Great house for a short stay.

easy to walk into town, a lovely little walk around a park just a few minutes walk with plenty of poop bins

the tree that over hangs the parking area had pigeons in and they deposited on the car! but its the neighbours tree so nothing the property owners can do

Excellent location with locate transport and range of shops; very good facilities and excellent hosts / well thought out handover info (made things so much easier.

Sittingbourne is not the most exciting town, nor isit blessed with any particularly good restaurants.

spacious and tidy, few minutes walk to high street, pet friendly.

TV remote is not working, although you can use the buttons on the TV, its not that convenient.

It was great local to were my family live ,as i was visiting family here,it was homely,which was great as was looking after grandkids.very clean close to town.

was a few things that could of made easier,like couple more tea towels and oven glove would of helped ,but thats all really.

Easy to find and easy reserved parking. Duncan ( the letting agent) is terrific! He was so helpful with the taps problem. He changed the taps on the ensuite basin immediately as they were almost impossible to open and close without wrenching them with a cloth to protect my hands. I have had an arthritic thumb problem in the past, so have a weaker grip these days, so was more affected than my husband. The kitchen taps were also very difficult to open and close and could not be fixed during our stay. However, Duncan did everything he could to help and supplied missing items immediately. There were plenty of towels, toilet rolls and waste bags. Wifi is very easy to log into and was reliable. The cottage is only a few minutes from the town centre, so very easy to walk there. We would stay again, except Sittingbourne is quite a drive from our family in Thanet, so travelling there several times during the week was a bit of a nuisance. Although it was expensive for the week, prices in other towns were astronomical. Hopefully, prices will drop next year when normal holidays can recommence.

The spare room bed mattress was very uncomfortable for our daughter, she cut short her visit because she couldn't sleep well. A bit more general cleaning would be helpful. Kitchen sink drain was very smelly. I had to use a lot of kitchen cleaner ( mine) to clear the smell. Also the vinyl floors in the kitchen and bathrooms had been vacuumed but not mopped. After wiping up some water on these floors, the cloths were very dirty. Cleaning products were not supplied. I always take my own, so not inconvenienced. Mostly, the problems were mostly due to maintenance issues that can be resolved. A bit expensive, but better price than everything else that was available.

Location gave us access to a range of activities and places of interest. Accommodation was comfortable and provided everything we needed. Good range of eateries nearby and easy shopping when required. Excellent WiFi.

Some taps that wouldn’t completely turn off were a bit annoying. Towels were provided but not great quality (a bit thin and on the small size). Dining chairs looked very smart but were not great for sitting on to eat.
