We loved everything about Le Chalet des Vignes

Absolutely nothing to dislike

This is a lovely BandB in a picturesque town near Bergerac. The room was pretty and comfortable, and breakfast was very good. The host is very friendly and helpful.

Ni wifi. Also if you are on bikes note that the nearest supermarket and fast food is 3km and restaurants in Bergerac 5km. Not a problem if you have a car.

My wife and I needed at short notice, in the middle of August, to find somewhere near Bergerac airport to stay because our flight was delayed 24 hours. We could not have landed in a better spot, with a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and access to a garden and swimming pool next to which - with no warning, and without needing to do any such thing - our host served us a delicious supper with garden vegetables and a beautifully cold Bergerac rose.

We had to go back to the airport in the morning.

The ambience of the place was pleasing, it was about fifteen minute drive to the nearest town of Bergerac. One needs a car as there does not seem to be easy access to other forms of transport. Parking is readily available on the property. Marie Agnes is a most warm and welcoming hostess.
