Beautiful off the beaten track village that we stumbled across accidentally. Booked 2 separate rooms on top of on another which was convenient. Views of the rice fields were next level and extremely contrasting. Pool was just below us which was lovely all day round at this time of year. Nice bar near the pool for cold beer and refreshments. Great place to hire scooters as the traffic is minimal and there is so much to explore.

Initially when we realized our top floor room didn't have an Aircon we were nearly ready to leave, However the staff were super accommodating and gave us extra fans. When we spoke to others who were staying we were assured that due to location we would not require air con and there were zero Mozzies.

The location site is very nice and green and the staff welcoming. The layout of the units are planned so that everyone can have some privacy.

The bathroom window had no glass pane, so we had to close the bathroom door so that insects won't get in the bedroom. The shower area does not have a separation so the toilet area tends to remain wet after shower. The pool water had a strong chemical smell so we did not stay long. But these are very little details that can be quickly adjusted for the perfect stay.

De locatie was prachtig, tussen kleine rijstvelden met mount agung op de achtergrond. Op loopafstand ook wat restaurants en winkels. Kamers heel mooi, heel ruim en schoon, badkamer ook mooi en schoon. Heel comfortabele bedden en leuk terrasje voor je kamer met uitzicht. Zwembad was ook mooi en schoon. Personeel was vriendelijk, eigenlijk te vriendelijk (zie hieronder). Ontbijt en avondeten waren goed.

Klinkt heel gek, maar het personeel deed te veel zijn best, het was op het overdrevene af. Te veel Thank you en Sorry en het voelde daardoor een beetje gemaakt en ongemakkelijk. Het leek erin geramd (iedereen liep ook met oortjes) maar voelde niet echt. Enige plek op Bali waar dit zo voelde, op andere plekken voelde het helemaal niet onecht. Overigens zou ik zeker hierdoor niet laten om er te boeken, je hebt er als gast niet echt last van, ze doen gewoon hun best. Maar het is als tip bedoeld naar het hotel. Ook het boeken van vervoer ging moeizaam over de whatsapp. Waar je bij andere accommodaties gewoon meteen 1 prijs krijgt voor vervoer na 1 appje, kreeg ik hier tig vragen over de app voordat ik wist waar ik aan toe was. Ook goed om te weten: de badkamer is deels open, dat is bij de meeste accommodatie in Sidemen. Wij hadden geen ongedierte binnen, maar mijn dochters vonden het wel een beetje spannend.

Heel fijn en comfortabel verblijf. Met restaurant, spa, zwembad en tours. Personeel is enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Aanrader!
