Location was perfect for our needs. Beautiful walks and a very good pub next door. Town is pretty and there was a market on the weekend we stayed.

Issue with cleanliness, but contacted the owner (after our departure) who committed to dealing with this quickly. Not enough to make us want to leave!

We all loved the location, Dulverton is a lovely place to visit. The river is less than 100 yards away with shops and restaurants a plenty. The Boot is well appointed and very comfortable. It has a relaxed feel and was perfect for our group. Only there for a weekend , but it had everything equipment wise we needed. The lounge and dinning room are large and comfortable perfect for a large family relaxed few days. Having rooms set up as two doubles and two twins was ideal for us and I guess would work for a lot of people.

No garden to sit out is was the only thing missing. But we knew that when booking and the river and park area is a minute down the road. Parking could be an issue but we had three cars, one on the parking space and two others about 60 yards up the road so not difficult.

We loved our stay here! Amazing location and fantastic accommodation. Absolutely beautiful, wished we could have stayed for a month!

There's nothing not to like.

Great holiday house in a lovely location - Dulverton is a pretty village with a working high street and nice pubs, and with some excellent nearby walks on Exmoor. Plenty of space for us all. Much appreciated sharp knives in the kitchen - a rare find in a holiday house! Thank you!

We had a wonderful second stay here at the boot - excellent location in the town centre with a great pub very nearby. Very warm, good walks, comfortable beds, open fire. Could not ask for more.

Bit of a problem with upstairs toilet but I’m sure that can be fixed

Plenty of room, not only a bed each but a sofa rack too. 43 steps door to door to the pub was a bonus ☺

The shower was rather temperamental, switching from boiling hot to freezing cold. You knew when it was 7.30am without looking at a clock as the traffic starting passing by
