What a wonderful villa- beautifully kept and managed. We travelled with our adult children and their partners and enjoyed a week at the villa relaxing and visiting the area. We walked into town a few times getting a taxi back which cost 5 euros per taxi. There were eight of us but easily got two taxis when needed. Some of our group were happy to walk home though at the end of an evening. The villa was in an excellent position- quiet away from the crowds but close enough to everything. We enjoyed sea kayaking from Bengali beach, a super fast speed boat ride to see dolphins out of Lagos and the younger members of our group loved the nearby Slide and Splash park. The bbq was great and the villa equipped for all our needs. The cleaner came on Tuesday and Thursday and kept the place beautifully. The pool guy came during the week to keep that tip top too and we really enjoyed our time lazing around the pool. We paid for the pool to be heated and enjoyed it warm enough to get straight in without initial shock. We took a rental car (9seater) from the airport and found the villa easily. We were gutted to find that the villa is already booked out for our summer holiday period next year, but it is certainly one we would come back to and recommend- a wonderful find so thanks for such a super stay in such a fantastic home from home.

We spend a very nice week in the house . It is well equipped, very clean and really well done. We enjoy the swimming pool and the diner on the terrace. Easy to go to all the famous places with our car. Carveiro center is at 20 mn by foot and you have plenty of bars and restaurants

Had the most amazing week in this wonderful villa. Pool was fantastic and the gardens beautiful ,we had everything we needed and carvoreio town was brilliant we loved our holiday and hope to come back soon

I would highly recommend this villa for families or groups with children of all ages. The property was immaculate, well catered and very comfortable. Plenty within walking distance and a very peaceful location.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful villa and we will definitely be going back again. It’s a great set up for a family with young children, very clean, with a large heated swimming pool. We also love the location as it’s close to some amazing beaches and zoo marine! We had a great week at Casa Luessa. It is brilliantly equipped, the pool is lovely and it was perfect for our needs. Having a bathroom for each room was excellent too. We walked to town most evenings and had no problems getting taxis back. Overall a fantastic stay and we will be back!

So why do we keep coming back? 1. It is a beautiful villa which is kept immaculately clean by the excellent maid 2. Great position for beaches, golf, water parks, Zoo Marine, supermarkets, restaurants, shopping etc 3. So it is great for families of all ages 4. Heated swimming pool so late night dips 5. We loved this villa which is set in the outskirts of Carvoiero but still only a very pleasant 20 minute walk into town (and that’s for the oldies). The pool is fantastic - and a really big. Villa is very well equipped and all the rooms are a very good size. Bathrooms are lovely. It was a delight sitting on the terrace looking at the garden. We ate at the large table there - it was wonderful. All bedrooms have AC which makes for a very good night’s sleep - temp was reaching 45 in the sun when we were there. My only improvement would be AC in the living room. Would definitely book again.

The villa gave us loads of space both inside and out. My favourite being the outside space, especially the sunsets from the rooftop. Lots of great restaurants a short walk away. We used local taxis for transfers and shopping, otherwise we walked everywhere.

The villa is set in beautiful gardens, surrounded by some spectacular flowers. Excellent sized pool, perfect setting for a holiday. Spacious villa with great amenities. Plenty of space for 4 adults, bonus of a bathroom each! The walk to town is about 15 /20 mins, although plenty of taxi’s if you don’t want to walk back.? Had the most glorious time, would highly recommend.

We have just returned from a lovely week at Casa Luessa. The villa is really lovely, spacious and has very generous sized bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms. The pool area is also a great size and is very secure for young children as it has a gated wall around it. The villa is so well equipped and literally has everything you need, it was also nice that we arrived to bread, milk and eggs. Rose was always very informative and great at responding to emails and Gaby (the Manageress) came round on the first day to introduce herself and was always very helpful and responsive to messages. The villa is in a lovely, quite location, we did need to get taxi’s everywhere though, this was mainly as we had four under 5’s in our party. We walked into Carveiro one evening and it was too far for the little legs! It was also a bit far to walk to the nearest shop. Generally it’s a 15-20 minute walk which is fine but it’s important to note it’s quite far for little ones, especially in the heat so taxi’s are required to get to the shops/beach/restaurants. It’s about an hour from Faro Airport. Also, bug spray is recommended if you want to enjoy the lovely terrace area during the evenings! Overall, we all had a lovely time and would definitely recommend Casa Luessa.

Our second visit to Casa Luessa and it was great to be back. Lovely spacious comfortable Villa with all mod cons (coffee machine is a great addition) comfy beds and the refurbished bathrooms are great. The standout feature of this Villa is outside though. The Villa is set in a huge well stocked garden with mature trees, it’s very peaceful. The pool is in a walled enclosure which catches the sun and shelters you from any wind. We had the pool heated as it was April and used the cover when not in use and the temperature was perfect. It’s really not a bad walk into town, only 20 mins walk to Cafe Fino for a great breakfast and 5 more will get you to the beach, all down hill if you pick the right route and a taxi only costs 5 euros if you don’t fancy the hill on the way back. Gaby the property manager was super responsive and the couple of issues we had were resolved super quick. Rose is a great owner with easy communication. Hope we’ll be back soon.

We were a group of 8, with age range from 6 to 81 years old and all we wanted was peace and quiet. This property gave us just that! The swimming pool was just perfect and it will be forever in our hearts because it was where our little one learned how to swim! The property and its surroundings is extremely well taken care of, the cleaning is spotless and the attention to detail is remarkable (the small note welcoming us was delightful). Thank you Rose, Rob and Paula for everything!

Fantastic Villa for families or friends! The pool is great and heating is very fast! Beatiful decoration and had everything needed for our vacations! Rose allways replied our questions very quickly! We'll definitly book it again.

We stayed at this beautiful villa in July 2021 and had a great time. The properly owner rose, is extremely helpful and answers any questions promptly. We were travelling with three children under the age of 4 so were a little apprehensive but the set up and location were great for a family with young children and we absolutely loved the pool. The villa is very close (within 10 min drive) to some beautiful beaches and fantastic restaurants. We would definitely recommend staying at this villa and hope to return soon.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Luessa, it’s a beautiful Villa with spacious comfortable bedrooms. It’s very well equipped with nice additional touches such as a Bluetooth speaker, essential groceries on arrival and pool inflatables. The pool is a good size and gated (a fence/gate around terrace or main gate would have also been useful...but I appreciate not all guests need this). Lovely gardens too. Great communication from both Rose and the local manager. Lucky enough to capture a photo of the once a year flowering orchid . Highly Recommended

The pool is a fantastic size, and the kids spent hours happily wrestling with the amazing inflatables. The house and garden reflect the space of the pool. The place is spotless and has everything you need, including some food and wine on arrival, this caring attention to detail made us feel very lucky indeed. On the first night we witnessed the opening of a rare flower; in the moonlight, on the terrace. It only flowers once a year and so we knew we were in for a treat! It is a short walk to the town and beach, although a taxi home after would be a good idea if you want to avoid teenage moaning! The local beach was the best one in the area but we did have a fantastic day out at Beliche beach on the west coast, well worth the drive. Restaurant recommendations were excellent too, and cooking at home was easy due to the well stocked kitchen. A wonderful place to stay.

This is the third time that we have rented this villa - that shows how much we love it. The facilities are excellent, the villa is immaculate as are the gardens and the pool area (with table tennis table). Two large fridges and a freezer are particularly useful, and the newly updated bathroom is very nice. There are excellent restaurants within a couple of minutes drive and three supermarkets within less than ten minutes drive Carvoeiro is also less than ten minutes drive though parking was more difficult this year. Our party had grandparents, four further adults and children ranging from 18 months to 12 years old and we all love staying at this villa.

Suffice to say this was our 4th consecutive visit to this villa. Rose’s communication is first class and management team on site are very helpful, if required. The pool area is enclosed, which is great if you have young family. The restaurants are all within a pleasant walk. We love this villa, Highly recommend.

We stayed two weeks in Aug. We’re a family group of 6 and had plenty of space. Villa is very comfortable and well equipped. Living areas nice and cool and well furnished, with games tv and sound system. Electric window blinds are a great bonus. Bedrooms are all well sized and beds comfy with air conditioning. Bathrooms are generally ok, couple could do with a refurb but showers and everything else works fine. Pool area is fab, large pool and lots of comfy sun beds and gets sun all day. We covered the pool every night and the pool was always a nice temp. Location is easily walkable from town but a taxi is only 6-7 euros. You need a car for the supermarkets though. We’ve stayed in this area three times and like it there are a couple of really good restaurants very close if you don’t want to go into town and a small shop. Only minor complaint is it’s near a well used route into Carvoiero so a bit of traffic noise. Rose was great to deal with. Local management was very responsive with a couple of small issues we had. Cleaner was great and Villa feels clean and well maintained inside and out. Would not hesitate to recommend and return to the Villa ourselves.

We enjoyed our stay so much in 2017 that we came again this year. The villa has everything needed for a great holiday for ten of us including 4 children, 2 of whom were under 3. The gated pool is particularly good for keeping young children safe. Having two fridges in the kitchen is also really useful (keeps the wine and beer cool!) The 4 bedrooms are all air conditioned and the maid keeps the whole villa very clean and changes towels and bedding regularly. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their stay and we look forward to visiting again

The villa was excellent. Rooms were spacious,with three of the four bedrooms having good en suite facilities. The kitchen was well equipped and the TV/entertainment were also very good and useful when it got too hot and the children needed to go indooors. The pool area was particularly good with the gates being useful for keeping a lively 18 month old girl safe. Special mention also to the maid who spoke excellent English and kept the villa immaculate. The local management team were also very good at quickly handling a couple of minor issues. I highly recommend this beautiful villa and my wife, a RHS member, loved the flowers and plants in the garden.

We had a lovely week at the villa. Rose was very helpful and organised for us to get into the villa a couple of hours earlier than normal check in time. The villa was clean and well equipped, the beds were all very comfortable and we particularly appreciated the air conditioning in the bedrooms and the security shutters as it was very hot during our stay. The pool was lovely however the only downside for us was that the heating was turned on halfway through our stay to accommodate the next family which made the pool far too warm for us and not refreshing or enjoyable. We ate out every night using lots of the restaurants recommended by the owners. We enjoyed the walk into town and back every night and didn't need to use taxis at all during our stay. We went on a boat trip to the caves which was excellent and definitely recommended. Overall I would recommend this villa.
