L'appartamento situato in una zona tranquilla è stato arredato con cura ed è molto luminoso ed accogliente. Gli ambienti ben distribuiti e pratici lo rendono molto confortevole. L'appartamento è dotato di impianto di climatizzazione ed è disponibile gratuitamente il collegamento internet WI-FI.
L'appartamento è distribuito su due livelli.
Al livello inferiore si trova la zona pranzo con un comodo tavolo da 4 posti ed un soggiorno dove sono posizionati un divano letto a 2 posti, una TV ed una radio. Entrambi gli ambienti sono molto luminosi. La camera da pranzo è dotata di un balcone con vista su strada alberata. In ambiente separato si trova una cucina ben attrezzata.
Al livello superiore si trova la camera da letto matrimoniale indipendente, dotata di un comodo armadio. Anche in questo livello si trova la stanza da bagno con doccia ed un piccolo ripostiglio.
L'appartamento è ubicato in posizione centralissima. Nelle immediate vicinanze il Teatro Massimo ed il Teatro Politeama entrambi raggiungibili a piedi in 10 minuti. Non distanti la via Ruggero VII, la via Stabile, la via Cavour, mete ideali per lo shopping. Un pò più lontano le due strade più antiche di Palermo, la via "Vittorio Emanuele" e la via "Maqueda", ricche di storia e di fascino.
In prossimità: Il Tribunale cittadino, villa Filippina (Spesso sede di eventi culturali e di intrattenimento), la chiesa di San Francesco di Paola, l'antico e caratteristico Mercato del Capo.
Nei dintorni ampia scelta di ristoranti, trattorie, pizzerie, bar, gelaterie, wine bar. Diversi supermercati presenti nella zona facilmente raggiungibili anche a piedi.

A nice traditional apartment just outside the centre.
We had an issue with water one night, but that was the general area, and not just the property. A call to the owner and they told us the position quickly.

This is an absolutely beautiful apartment. My only concern with the property was noise after hours. One night it lasted until 3AM in the morning. Ruggero explained that though this apartment is on a lovely quiet tree lined street there are sometimes young people partying into the night.

This was a wonderful base for our 3 nights in Palermo. It's on a fairly quiet side street and convenient for the sights we wanted to see. Roberto was very gracious and helpful. When I inquired about taxis for our arrival at the train station, he researched the cost and offered to pick us up himself. He also steered us to the best way of getting to the airport. The apartment is charming; very high ceiling in the main living area. The bedroom and bathroom are in a loft up a steep set of stairs. The kitchen is fully equipped, even a microwave, but strictly a one-person size. Roberto recommended a nearby restaurant (Torquemada) that we visited twice - delicious food & wine, full of locals, not tourists. Definitely 5 stars!

Un vero Gioiello :)
Die Wohnung entspricht genau den Fotos. Sie ist sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wurde sehr sauber übergeben. Es ist alles bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht und es ist alles vorhanden. Ruggero ist sehr hilfsbereit, so hat er uns einen Parkplatz reserviert und diesen auch bezahlt. Man kann vor dem Haus parken gegen eine Tagesgebühr von € 10 (Sonntag gratis). Die Lage ist sehr gut, Palermo kann zu Fuß erkundet werden. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Wohnung von Ruggero sehr genossen. Wenn wir wieder nach Palermo kommen, werden wir sie in jedem Fall wieder nehmen.

Siamo stati sette giorni presso la casa del Sig. Ruggeri e che dire... la casa rispecchia completamente la descrizione, pulitissima e completa di tutto. L'appartamento si trova in un palazzo signorile e in ottima posizione per raggiungere a piedi il centro. Il Sig. Ruggeri é una gentilissima persona, molto disponibile; in poche parole come essere a casa. La consiglio vivamente a chiunque.

An oasis in a busy city.
Palermo is a very busy city with so much to see and experience. The apartment is located very close to the centre and within walking distance of the main sights and markets, but situated on a quieter, tree-lined road. It was a very comfortable place to come home too and like a cool oasis of calm. It was also a good base from which to explore the north and west of Sicily. Ruggero was an attentive host, with helpful suggestions regarding car parking and places to eat. He also swiftly sorted out a minor problem we had at the beginning of our stay. We would highly recommend a stay in this apartment.

L'appartamento del Sig. Ruggero è ideale per coppie e piccole famiglie. Molto pulito ed organizzato in zona centrale ma molto tranquilla. Il Sig. It is very clean and organised - all mod cons are available. Mr. Ruggeri is an excellent host, very kind and considered towards his guests. Highly recommended. PS: il Mercato del Capo è letteralmente sotto casa, da non perdere e forse più interessante di Ballarò. Assolutamente da visitare la chiesa della Professa, e la stupenda cattedrale di Monreale - se quest'ultima si trovasse a Roma o Firenze si dovrebbe prenotare mesi prima per visitarla. Da mangiare: Ke Palle per arancine, mercato del Capo per street food e pesce fresco, ristorante Il Cambusone a Vucciria (800 mt dall'appartamento). Godetevi questa magnifica città. PS: Il Capo street market is at your doorstep, can't miss it and possibly more interesting than Ballarò. THE CHIESA DELLA PROFESSA AND MONREALE CATHEDRAL MUST BE ABSOLUTELY SEEN, if this last one were in Rome or Florence, you would need to book months in advance just to get a glimpse of such a stunning masterpiece. To eat: Ke Palle for the delicious Arancine, Mercato del Capo for street food and fresh fish, restaurant Il Cambusone in Vucciria ( 800 mt from the apartment). Enjoy this magnificient city.

OTTIMA STRUTTURA
Mi sono recato a Palermo per pochi giorni ed ho avuto la fortuna di prenotare quest'alloggio. Il proprietario si è mostrato gentile ed ospitale dandoci tutte le informazioni in modo corretto ed esaustivo. L'appartamento è stato trovato pulito e in ottima posizione centrale, vicino alla famosa piazza "Politeama" collegata sia con la stupenda spiaggia di Mondello che con tutti i luoghi d'interesse. Sicuramente torneremo sperando di trovare la stessa struttura libera, tre giorni sono pochi per una città così bella!! Consigliato!!!

Appartement charmant
Appartement très bien agencé, très bien équipé, parfaitement propre et confortable. Situé à une dizaine de minutes à pied du Teatro Massimo, il est très bien placé pour visiter Palerme. L'immeuble est calme, on entend cependant les bruits de la rue dans la journée et en début de soirée. Petits supermarchés et nombreux restaurants à proximité. Mention spéciale à Ruggero, hôte très prévenant, qui est venu nous chercher - et nous a ramenés - à l'arrêt de bus Politeama et nous a permis de profiter de l'appartement jusqu'à 17h30 le dernier jour, notre avion décollant dans la soirée. Nice apartment in good location
I spent two weeks here while attending the Italian language school right around the corner. This is a nice little apartment on a tree-lined street of a residential neighborhood. It is far enough away from the busier and noisier center of the city but within 5-20 minutes walking distance of all the sites you want to visit. It is a nice respite at the end of the day from the crowds of the tourist areas. It is a 5-10 minute walk to Teatro Massimo and all the little side streets around there that have wonderful restaurants, bars and good shopping. The Cathedral is about a 15-20 minute walk. The Capo Market is 5 minutes away. There is a gourmet grocery less than 5 minutes walk, and a great bakery right around the corner. Some commenters have said this apartment is very quiet and looks over a courtyard. They may have been talking about the apartment next door. The apartment pictured above is on the street side, and while it is a relatively quiet street, it is still a city and you will definitely hear sirens, car alarms, and motorbikes a few times during the night. The owner Ruggero is very kind and hospital. He picked me up from the bus stop at Politeama and brought me back on my return. He checked in by text message from time to time to see if all was well. The apartment was quite comfortable and very clean. I would recommend it to all who are staying in Palermo for several days or longer and who like walking. Palermo is a walking city, so good walking shoes are a must!

Tolle Wohnung in sehr guter Lage
Wir hatten die Wohnung von Ruggero für 5 Tage gebucht und haben neben Palermo auch das Umland von dort erkundet. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, die Wohnung blitzsauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Internet funktionierte einwandfrei und Läden sowie Restaurants gibt's um jede Ecke. Ruggero ist ein Gentleman als Gastgeber, suuper freundlich und hilfsbereit! Parkplätze gibt es direkt vor der Tür und wir hatten immer Glück das gerade einer frei war als wir wieder zurückkamen. Der Verkehr in Palermo (genau wie in anderen Städten Siziliens) ist etwas hektischer als in Deutschland gewohnt und gerade Sonntagabend kann es schon mal sehr voll werden. Ein kleineres Auto ist hier kein Nachteil.
Wenn wir wieder mal nach Palermo kommen werden wir in jedem Fall wieder bei Ruggero einkehren - absolute Empfehlung!

Ruggero was so helpful, meeting us off the airport bus even though we arrived on a late flight and the bus was diverted because of that days Papal visit - and then on departure he helped us to the ferry terminal for our overnight journey to Naples. It was exactly the break we were hoping for. A lovely introduction to Palermo. I would recommend Palermo and this apartment. We will be returning!

Great vacation rental
Comfortable, well-appointed, nicely decorated two floor apartment in a quiet, conveniently located part of Palermo. Air conditioned. Comfortable bed, functional kitchen. Very responsive and welcoming host dealt with WiFi problems promptly. Ruggero picked us up when we got off the airport bus and even brought us fresh biscotti during our stay. I heartily recommend the apartment.

A spacious, modern and clean flat set on a historical quarter of Palermo
We enjoyed very much for our stay of four nights at this flat. The location is very convenient, and we walked to all the tourists attractions every day, including the harbour. Thanks for Ruggero’s hospitality as he picked and dropped us off at the bus station which made our journey much easier. Definitely would like to stay at this flat again when we are back to Palermo next time.

Comfortable and attractive
On a side street in the Capo quarter of Palermo, this well furnished and comfortable apartment is ideal for one or two visitors. The kitchen is equipped well enough for us to cook for ourselves with resources from the nearby Mercato di Capo. The cathedral is a 20 minutes walk, as is the transport hub of Politeama square. Thanks to Ruggero's courtesy--he drove us and our luggage to the airport bus--our stay in Palermo was delightful from beginning to end.

Nice Apartment Great Host
This wonderful apartment is perfectly located in Palermo; walking distance to the central attractions but far enough away from the crowds to enjoy the city. The owner, Ruggero, went out of his way to help us get settled. After meeting us at the center of Palermo, Politeama Square, he drove us to the apartments and made us feel at home.
The apartment is nicely furnished and includes a kitchen, should you wish to cook (who would in Palermo), and a washing machine. It is nicely decorated and very comfortable. Typical of Italian homes, the bathroom, which is small, was very clean as is the rest of the apartment. Wi-Fi is included. I could live in this apartment!
There are several very good restaurants close by plus an excellent "bar" for morning coffee and pastries. You can easily walk to attractions such as Teatro Massimo, The Cathedral of Palermo, the Pretoria Fountain, and the Quattro Canti (four corners).
A cab ride away is the Cathedral of Monreale, which is famous for combining three styles of architecture, Byzantine, Islamic and Roman. The centerpiece of the cathedral is the mosaic of Christ, which is huge (the two fingers on his right hand are nearly two meters long). A must see while in Palermo.
The people living and working in the area of the apartment were extremely warm, friendly and helpful to non-Italian speaking visitors. I hope to go back and visit again and would certainly stay in this apartment the next time.

Great place to stay in Palermo
We were picked up by "roger" at the bus from the airport. He was very helpful and even stopped at a grocery store for us to pick up some supplies. The apartment is clean and very central to the sites of palermo. No car is needed. The loft has the bedroom and bathroom and has all of the necessities. Kitchen was well equipped and the apartment had lots of light. We stayed there a second time at the end of our Sicily trip. Roger was so helpful , he even dropped us off at the ferry for Salerno. Would highly recommend this apartment for a couple.

An excellent apartment in a great location!
This is a fine place to stay. Ruggero, the owner, is very pleasant and cordial. He even drove me to the 24-hour supermarket to buy milk, which was very kind of him. The apartment was accurately described in the listing. It was clean and well-maintained. Ruggero manages the property himself, and he was very responsive to my questions and needs. Customer service was outstanding. I have already recommended this property to others.
The apartment is located within easy walking distance of the Teatro Massimo and the Piazza Politeama as well as the old town of Palermo. The best gelato place I have ever experienced is nearby. It serves decadent amounts of gelato in a brioche for three euros fifty. Best bargain of my trip!

This is lovely apartment in a very nice area.
Everything was exactly as advertised. Apartment is at very good location, close to city sights. It is clean and well maintained. The owner, Ruggero, is very nice and friendly person. He picked us up at the bus stop when we arrived from the airport and drove us to car rental agency on the day of our departure.

Lovely flat, great location
The flat is in a great location - walking distance from all the major sites plus near restaurants , local supermarkets and all the famous markets. Nothing is more than 30 minutes walk away. We love walking as it is a great way to get to know a city.
The area is clean and felt very safe. My husband and I often went for a walk at night or to just sample one of the great ice cream bars.

The flat is light airy ,spacious , very well decorated and maintained. Downstairs is the main hall along with a galley kitchen which is large enough to cook a good meal. All. the necessary equipment is provided, including a small washing machine and good size fridge.
A living room with a comfortable sofa and a dining room make up the rest of the space downstairs. There is a balcony off the dining room which though not large, you could walk out onto. I was even able to put some washing out onto the balcony area.
Two .TVs with a range of international channels provided entertainment along with fantastic Wifi.
Upstairs there is a bedroom with a very comfortable bed as well as. plenty of storage space. There is also a bathroom . with a good shower, bidet etc along with more storage.
An air con unit upstairs kept the whole flat cool. Although we visited in September, it was still very hot, c 30-35c. After a morning or day sight seeing , it was great to return to the flat.
Overall we had a great time in Palermo but this was also due. to the warm welcome we received from the owner of the flat, Ruggero. He provided good clear instructions about how to get from the airport. He met us in one of the main squares and took us by car .to the flat. At the end of our stay, he collected us and took us to Palermo train station so that we could continue our holiday in Sicily.
We would highly recommend a stay in Palermo and certainly at this lovely flat.

The flat is in a great lo...
The flat is in a great location -- only a 15 minute walk from the centre. It's in a very posh-looking building, with lovely big doors. The flat is really well decorated, clean and comfortable. It's a got a really homely feel, and big windows that look out onto a very verdant street. The kitchen is really well equipped, so will be easy to cook food. Some basic ingredients are available including olive oil, salt, and plenty of lovely coffee. The owner, Ruggero, is really friendly and helpful.
The flat is a 5 minute walk from Piazza Politeama where the majority of buses stop (including ones that go to the airport). There is a small supermarket about a 5 minute walk too.
We had a fantastic time and would certainly recommend it. The flat is a great base for exploring a wonderful and vibrant city.
