The Motel was awesome. The location was nice and quiet

We've stayed in other exec rooms at the regal but this one was pretty average

crack in the rubbish bin, only had rain shower, noisy fridge, tissues were stuffed into the box and wouldn't come out.

Brilliant pool, excellent for families. Clean and comfortable.

It’s a very well set up complex, with plenty of activities available and a great outdoor heated pool and sauna.

The room was modern, clean and spacious. The beds were comfy. We were allowed early check in for our toddler to sleep which was very much appreciated.

Staff were fairly rude on check in which was not our usual experience when we stay here. I feel it is because we queried a discount for the heated pool being out of action. The heated pool was a huge part of why we had booked this accomodation in Winter so we were disappointed it wasn’t working (but understood it was not their fault). We were however paying a premium rate to stay there and now had the added expense of having to pay for 6 people to swim elsewhere. They offered no option or solution, no discount when asked. We were told we could cancel or pay full rate. This was the day before our stay so no time to find somewhere else for that many people so we’re left with no option but to stay and pay full rate. I will say staff in check out were much more friendly. When you book 5 star and pay $670 a night for a stay, I would have hoped for better customer service when one of their main facilities breaks down. This has put me off staying again.

The only thing I would have changed in the room is the 2 chairs for a couch & a bigger tv would be good too. & for the second time in 1 year the pools heating wasn’t working but we didn’t have kids this time so the spa bath was great but you should let people know if the pool heating is not working, especially in the winter. Other that that would still come back.

Fabulous spacious room and spa.

Could do with an additional mirror so can get close enough to put on makeup/earrings without glasses on, and the bed was a tad too firm.

This resort had everything we needed for a family getaway, my family enjoyed the tennis court and mini-golf, our Luxury room spa was absolutely huge! We had 2 nice and big TV's, the space in the one bedroom luxury apartment was generous, such a peaceful resort we will definitely be staying here every time we visit.

The pool was under maintenance so it was not heated when we visited - unlucky

Great room, very tidy, close to the town and many activities in rotorua.

Some facilities were closed or not available such as the heated pool and spa treatment.

The space of the rooms, the baths. We were away for a few days so it was nice to have a home away from home type accomodation.

The spa is enormous! Superb bathroom. Quiet room and spacious.

The bed was a little uncomfortable. Needs a sofa in the room.
