Family friendly
Facilities were older. Rushed to leave after meals.

Beatuiful scenery. We booked a room with private bath, which was open to the beautiful mountainous nature.
The staff were the best and most kind I've ever experienced. And the breakfast was so good. I haven't felt more at peace. 11/10 for me, will most likely visit this Ryokan again just for the wonderful time I had there. The room was exceptional also.
If you have the chance, I won't recommend missing it :)

I like the natural onsen of the property.
We were booked in a smoking room. It had a smell that I had to ask for air freshener. the building was too old as well.

I liked the atmosphere of the spa, it was very beautiful outside with the Sakura blossoms. The food was also fresh and tasty at the saiaitei restaurant.

Love the onsen facility and hospitality of the ryokan staff. They try their best to make us feel at home and comfortable.
The upholstery of the chairs in our room were stained. It would be great if they can be shampooed clean or replaced. But overall, our stay was pleasant.

the building is dated and could use some upgrade and repair.

The service was exceptional and the staff was very helpful at check-in, breakfast, and check-out.
The location was serene and the private onsen was worth the time and price.
It would have been more helpful to have laundry as an option while staying at the hotel. There was no way to wash clothes during our stay.

I like the traditional Japanese room decors. My family love the hot spring facilities and the staffs are so helpful in explaining to us on how to use the pools since it’s our first time to experience it. We also like the food during dinner and breakfast.

We treated ourselves with the room with the private bath, dinner and breakfast for our one night in Osaka. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable, it smelt a little of cigarettes when we first went in but we opened the door for a bit and it was fine. The private bath was lovely and so relaxing with a beautiful view. Our highlight was definitely the dinner, what a feast it was! Thank you to all the staff for your help!

This was such an awesome place that's very near Osaka! It's easy to commute going here and there's a free shuttle going to the property. We had to do a bit of asking around to know the location of the shuttle and schedule, but it's pretty much accurate from the description. We were served a sumptuous kaiseki dinner, had an amazing time at the onsen (I was alone at one point and it was really relaxing), and the traditional buffet breakfast was also very delicious. The shuttle going back to the train station was on schedule and very convenient. It's easy to travel here if you are coming from centre of Osaka, and also near the Cup Noodle Museum.
The place is a bit outdated, but still well-maintained. I scheduled a massage for 1 hour, but it was too hard for me. And this is coming from someone who actually likes hard massage, it was too intense. I didn't feel too relaxed and had to go back to the onsen one last time before MN to soothe my tired, aching body haha.
