Gästehaus Absbachtal is a beautiful place to stay. It’s a quiet area with the town of Bad Rippoldsau-Schapbach at a 20 minute walk or 10 minute drive. At a 5 minute walk you’ll find a little bakery shop with bread and some basics for every meal. The bigger supermarkets are located in Freudenstadt at a 20 minute drive. Special thanks to the Zimber family, who are the lovely owners. There were a lot of toughtful details that made our stay even better, like the service of ordering bread rolls every morning, the apples we could take anytime, the free of charge sauna and solarium, the garden with trampoline, slackline, sandpit, football field, and a beautiful little stream to play in. We had a double bedroom apartment with two bathrooms on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the forrest and the hills. We did some beautiful walks directly from the house with our dog, who enjoyed the holiday as much as we did. We would definitely go to Gästehaus Absbachtal again!

Perfect location in the middle of the valley, with mountain river reachable right from the garden

If there's heaven - it's probably there. The guesthouse lies inside the forest - distant and quite place. To wake up every morning and see the forest surrounding you, the local water stream running few meters beneath you, clean and fresh air and total quiteness - that's probably a realistic dream. I can't express in words the feelings of being there. Suffice to say that I cannot find anything to complain about (well, just a small issue). There's even a good bakery in about 6-7 minutes walk.

The was no reception for my cell-phone and the WiFi was pretty slow (but you can't complain about that when you're in the middle of the forest). That's it !
