Super friendly staff and comfortable cozy beds. Breakfast every morning is great. Views of Fitzroy are awesome. Never had to wait for a bathroom.

I actually burned myself quite badly from the hot water in the shower (the showers are very small and I wasn't able to get out of the way by the time I realized the water was too hot). There's no signage to be careful with the hot water. Just be extra precautious. The building itself is somewhat far away (about 15 to 20 minutes walking) away from the main trailheads. Otherwise the stay was wonderful. Would definitely recommend this place despite the burn.

cold and unwelcoming staff who would not give any tips or recommandations about the surroundings or trails. Basic breakfast (bad coffee and orange juice compared to any other place we went in el chalten), curtains in the room which do not block the light from the street during night time. The room and bathroom were clean but not done on the last day, and eventually we had a disturbing incident concerning a “misunderstanding” with the amount to pay for the room (was it a misunderstanding though?) with a very unprofessional and aggressive receptionist. We felt uncomfortable there and would recommend to stay somewhere else if there are still availabilities, to enjoy the beauty of el chalten and the surroundings.

Great location (no need to drive to get to town) and VERY clean rooms/shared ablutions, which is rare!

Breakfast could be more varied, and it’s a bit noisy as walls are thin.

Caring friendly staff - on hand for all the local tips!

A lovely, quiet, clean, and warm stay! They have water (hot and room temp) always readily available, as well as a little fridge in which you can store items. Note that a kitchen/microwave isn’t available. Breakfast is simple, but great. Their coffee is quite good. Wifi was good/stable enough to do a voice call, browse, and watch YouTube videos.
