rooms facing the street are noisy and can easily wake you up.. bring ear plugs.. interior rooms much quieter, but carpets need cleaning.

The hotel is located close to the city center.

Replacement of windows is necessary because they have gaps. It is not possible to sleep well at night because the street is very loud. Staff doesn't speak English.

Friendly, helpful staff from the doormen, cleaners to reception. My internal room was off the main atrium and therefore quiet. A few blocks from the cathedral.

Terrible WiFi which didn't work in my room unless I stood by the door and then it wasn't great. It also never reconnected automatically meaning each time I had to log on again. Note it might be better in rooms off the atrium. No facility to refill water bottles.

•The staff at the reception could not speak English and the lady ,who showed me the room,was pretty miserable. •The room 101 faces the main road and is pretty noisy from traffic and loud music until 1am. •The plugs to charge phones are uncovenientely located behind the bedside cabinet. •Behind the bedside cabinet there were 2 cm of dust and some rubbish from previous guests.

Old, historic building with open atriums. Elegant lobby, spacious and well-appointed. BUT ...

The freaking lobby music. It's a beautiful lobby, BUT there is piped in jazz that is too loud to hang out and read or work. I had to ask frequently to have the volume lowered. For some mind-boggling reason, a sub-woofer is installed in an archway 3 meters up, no sound cushioning, mounted flush to a concrete ledge, which echoes into the rooms with this annoying hum whenever the sub-woofer cuts in. WhoinHell does that to such a grand hotel? My room's rug (206) was FILTHY with ground-in who-knows-what. I had to wear sandals to keep dirt off my feet. I doubt it has been deep-cleaned in the past two years -- or more. The bed linens do not fit, so they are left loose on the edges, so they gather and shift into wads during the night.. They need to be at least 12-18" wider so they can be tucked in. Just cheap beyond belief. Here's an idea. Instead of spending for a too-loud sound system, invest in decent fitting linens for the beds. After all, we stay there to sleep, not be subjected to the hotel's "music experience".

Clean, nice and close to everything in the city center. Water pressure is great! Good value for the location.

Due to the location it can be loud and outside noise does bleed into the room.
