This is a stunning small hotel with beautiful gardens and 7 rooms in the heart of the Skoura palmerie. Run by a Belgium woman and her French husband and with friendly local staff. Meals are excellent. Trips with local guides are worth doing. And they can organize trips further afield (they booked a desert camp overnight for is). I visited with my 11 year old son who thought it flawless and especially loved the semi-hidden retreat areas with rugs and cushions in the garden and on the roof. The animals in a corner of the garden and the pool are also great for families. We particularly enjoyed the guided cycle ride though the palmarie, stopping off at a tiny pottery for some hands-on clay throwing (small tip expected)

This place is an oasis on it's own, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Once you find the place (you need to take a dirt road off from the main street through town), you seemingly enter a different world inside the property's walls. Such a beautiful and peaceful "resort"--the owners deserve a TON of credit for realizing their dream (and investment) and their sense of design is extraordinary. Super helpful staff all around! The Atlas was probably my favorite part of the country for it's beauty, remoteness, country-side culture (though vast in size) and Skoura is a good place to sample part of it by spending two nights and one full day touring the palmerie. (Would also recommend glamping in the desert for a night to the far east.) The dinners were excellent too (although you really have no other choice...there's nothing nearby). Thanks for making our visit there so memorable, comfortable, and beautiful!

As a vegetarian who doesn’t eat dairy it is slim pickings with the food. No alternative milk at breakfast etc. But this problem is across morocco having said that

We had a wonderful stay at L'Ma Lodge. Coming from 3 days in the desert, the green oasis of this lodge was a sight for sore eyes. We were greated warmly upon arrival, given tea and a chance to relax after a 5 hour drive. We were given a tour of the property and shown our room, which was very clean and spacious. After a long drive, we mostly lounged around the property... on the rooftop, by the pool, in the hammocks. It was great. The food was phenomenal and it was nice to meet one of the owners, who is raising her family for the last 20+ years in Skoura. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

After the very warm welcome, we arrived to our beautiful room surrounded by palmtrees. The staff was beyond helpful and kind (from fixing us a last minute meal to showing us the way to all te must sees in the area). Dinner was delicious and breakfast a real treat! So honestly an amazing stay and would love to come back one day soon! Thank you so much!

Everything was great and super clean! Thanks to the upgrade, the Latin bath with the palm view was my favourite. I definitely recommend for the star gazing at the terrace <3

This is a true oasis in the desert. The property is immaculately done, with a sprawling garden. They grow as much of their own food as they can, and even produce their own olive oil. Staff are incredibly kind and professional. The breakfast and dinner are not to be missed. I read all of the reviews that say stay more than one night- and we wished we had been able to make a two night stay work with our schedule. We definitely wanted to stay another night!

We were warmly welcomed by the Family in the house! They are so lovely and helpful! A grey cat ushered us to the room! There is a big garden with a swimming pool and number of seating area. It’s very well managed, beautiful and calming. The room is spacious and cosy with Moroccan style decoration. We got everything in the room even heater for the freezing weather. Dinner n breakfast was good :)

This is the definition of an oasis.... exactly how you see it in the movies. It was lush, tranquil, peaceful, zen, cosy, warm hospitality, great service, spotless, beautifully decorated, impecable architecture. I’m running out of adjetives and I’m sure there is room for a lot more positive ones. We absolutely loved the stay, the place, its people, the incredibly good food, every single detail was perfect. The room was comfortable, spacious, cosy, well heated, great quality toiletries, quiet. The bed was beyond perfect, mattress was spot on, great blankets, linen, towels, pillows. Romantic, traditional and perfect lighting. Super clean. Please don’t make the mistake we made, please, please, please, stay at least two nights. One night will leave you totally heartbroken (like us)... your body and soul deserve enjoying its lush gardens, rest areas, feed the local animals, have a nap under an olive tree, enjoy the service, feel pampered... trust us, one nigh is not enough.
