We did not like anything. The Proprietor was off hand. Before I spoke, she said 'I DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH' She was very unhelpful. We were in a tiny box room at the back of the hotel , over the yard and bins. No table of chairs to put things on or sit on. We had 2 Camp beds No soap etc:. No bath or shower. No room to hang our cloths. Worst room we have ever stayed in. At breakfast the staff ignored us. When we came to leave the Proprietor had already taken out the payment from my credit card, which I only use as security. I usually pay with my Euro credit card. She had even charged us for the water we had at dinner. We did not have any wine, merely 2 glasses of water each. When I complained, she said too bad I have taken the money from your card. DO NOT RECCOMEND this Hotel to any one else.

The Gentleman guest who was very helpful. With out him we would have had problems as the Proprieter did not welcome us, but walked away and he came to our rescue. We had n't even spoken to the Proprietos, so obviously being English was herr problem.

We stayed here 50 years ago on our honeymoon, it was great then and has been refurbished and is to a high standard now and still great. The staff are excellent and nothing is to much trouble for them, it's not easy to get to but with a bit of effort can be done, a great time.
